I wonder tho .... is it slower because of geometry? or slower because of travel? Wider tires? Would be interesting to see same travel but one with slack geo. Or - same geo, with different travel.

Nice video. Was the Stumpjumper the standard version or the Evo? There’s quite a bit of difference between the models. Apologies if you said which it was. I missed it if you did.

Hi Anthony. This model was the Evo. It’s a nice bike.

@@bikeandbeyond Thanks for that. I wanted the Evo but couldn’t get hold of one at the time. Ended up with the standard version which is great for flowy single track and trail centres but with only 140/130 travel it lacks composure on the gnarly stuff. Your video was interesting as I’m considering purchasing a Cube Enduro bike. 👍

great comparison, the results are wrong. Climbing will be naturally won by the trail bike cause it's lighter and has a steeper head angle. Descending will be won by enduro bike cause it has bigger suspension and grippier tires , slacker head angle, eventually bigger brake rotors and better breaks, and can be ridden with more confidence

Nice video but the specialised had more travel and it was carbon so there probably both enduro bikes
