Spectacled Bear Feeding and Fighting! @ CERZA Parc des Safaris

We fed the spectacled bears at CERZA, but female Tierra wasn't too happy that Balu when he wouldn't share his food with her. She sounds like a TIE FIghter from Star Wars when angry!

I wonder if the giant short faced bears of the past sounded like this??? The media always uses grizzly sounds for them but technically they are more closely related to the spectacled bear.

Just because they're closely related doesn't mean they'll sound exactly the same. Bigger size and different head shape can effect the sound.

My heart was broken and tears came to my eyes, hearing and seeing the cruelty in the feeding of the bears, and the assine 'feeding adult' allowing the bears to anguish for a prolonged period of time....enough food should be given that would preclude these behaviors. The jerk who is feeding the bears, has a beer gut and should work out in a different way, instead of tantalyzing these creatures. It truly angers me to see this video...and I do not see anything funny about the sounds of the bear.
