Spectacular flypast for King Charles' Birthday

Over 70 aircraft & helicopters fly over London and other parts of the UK to mark the end of the Trooping the Colour parade & the official birthday of King Charles III.
This was near enough the flypast that was supposed to happen on his Coronation last month, however it was hampered by poor weather & was decided by the MoD to try again for June's Trooping the Colour parade.
It's also the last sortie of the RAF's C-130J Hercules which have now officially been retired.

@@fredtedstedman I must admit, I didn’t enjoy it as much this year. The camera angles were all over the place, the mass bands started the spin wheel, what did the BBC do…went to a shot of Charlotte for gods sake.

@@FunnyVideoCollector There were one Lancaster, two Hurricanes and a Spitfire. I had to go looking just to ensure what I was going to say is as correct as I can be. Lancasters only used the Merlin engines, as did the Hurricanes. That leaves the Spitfire and it's in D-Day landing colours with the stripes to ensure no friendly fire. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight have two Griffin Spitfires, but both are from 1945 onwards, which is after D-Day. So that one would have been a Merlin too. Quite right to say because the increased performance of the Griffon kept air superiority and the Spitfire ahead of allied and Nazi aircraft, at least propeller aircraft. And it's got its own unique sound too.

Prefer the sound of a Griffon.9 litres larger by volume but a different firing order.Its crank also rotates anticlocwise compared to the Merlin.Sounds more like a radial than an inline v12.

That was appalling. They had a camera trained on the balcony and nothing pointed down the Mall it seemed. Apart from the actual trooping, the coverage was crap, imo.

I have heard that UK economy is not doing so well. Where do they get the funds to do this flyby. I mean am sure a lot of money would have been spent for doing this. The king could have used these funds for uk's betterment.

You captured something flying really fast most likely a UAP between 2:05 and 2:07mins in the video ???? Thank me later ....I have good eye on fast moving objects .... Anyone else noticed ?

It is probably an insect flying close to the camera. This is why it looks like a "fast moving" object. I done a video recording years ago with my phone in the seaside, and I noticed similar kind of thing. It was an insect probably a fly. :)
