Always wonder about loft bedrooms. Have you ever had surgery? Been sick? Hurt your back? Climbing into/out a loft is not so conducive to those common scenarios.

What an interesting, creative approach! The downstairs area contains everything one needs on a daily basis, but the upstairs area is so bright and light and expansive that it makes one's mind relax and take flight. I can easily imagine relaxing there on the weekend or having friends over and hanging out with them! As ever, the light fixtures and the decor are a delight to the eye - well done!

This is nice, well thought out. Not so claustrophobic with the high ceilings. I like the bedroom downstairs nearer the bathroom, no stairs to climb at night. I always think crawling in & out of bed & not being able to stand upright would get real old, real quick. This is the best one I’ve seen.

Hats off to you. Excellent design Rassel. You have surpassed yourself with this one. Loved the long glass windows, especially the long angular one along the staircase. That's a unique idea. The use of space below the staircase as a cupboard for the bedroom is good thinking. The kitchen is neat. I like the fact that it is a demarcated, defined space. The living room on the loft seems more appealing than having the bedroom there. The balcony is cute. The external design is creative and appealing. Wish I could live in such a house! Continuation from my previous comment. The family room up on the second floor was stunning. It felt so open, 😊spacious and it opened the room as if it was the whole area. You really out did yourself. Your plans keep getting better and better. Having the backroom secluded and right next to the bedroom is such a perfect idea! You are gifted and talented creation ofGod.

Thank you for replying. I really love the way your mind, brain and heart work together to create these amazing and stunning pieces of art. They are not just tiny homes. Each individual one is a piece of art that people can surround their lives in! You really blow my mind away with such beautiful pieces of artistic living. Can you design one for a handicapped person in a wheelchair. Even a long ramp to upstairs or an elevator would work. It’s so frustrating to be limited to one floor, especially for the seniors and handicapped.

Very nice! I really like the concept of living room upstairs. During ordinary days (no guests), I'd rather spent my time in my room and kitchen/dining area, no need to go upstairs. Living room with balcony is a great feature too

im starting to like the idea of having the living room in the loft area! that's where you get the best views and for most of the day your eyes are open you are in the living area...bedroom is just for sleeping...plus having the toilet/bath downstairs is just easier during the building process right? right? but ive only seen a few ideas like this and yours is one of them!!! i love it!

Finally, a house design one could retire in, with all the necessities on one floor. But the upstairs with a balcony is so inviting, it would be a shame to ignore it when you can't take the stairs anymore. Puzzled by the window UNDER the handrail on the stairs.

Thank you. That diagonal fixed window is meant to illuminate the stairs during daytime. You can have the glass frosted to keep the inside from being too visible while using the stairs. ❤

I love this! Very well laid out. If it were my house I'd want to have a soaking tub/shower unit somehow, and a larger balcony or deck, but other than that I wouldn't change anything else. Wonderful!

I LIKE THIS. Simple with no real extravagant extras (i would have to have a fireplace OR woodburning stove). Now, as a guy, if there was a i dunno...lets say a 3 bay garage with lifts and a maintainance shop with airconditioning and a full bar and kitchen somewhere close. That would be heaven! Men need a place for all their toys!

Nice, but again w/ the tiny houses, Id add just a cpl feet to the bedroom, so you can get in/ out from both sides,& for making the bed & changing sheets. On this one, I'd also pop the microwave up over the stove, to get more counter space. Love the color palette. Very clean looking.
