I LOVE the results of the Tudor Rose long haul! I also am really glad you shared the masking with the trees, and as always I really appreciate the discussion about which colors to use when and why.

Just caught up this morning, so many good tips and techniques, but using the Caran d'Ache crayons is my favourite, they really can transform a good print into a brilliant print. 💖

Oh thank you! And yes P has really been enjoying them, which I am so happy I went ahead and ordered them.

First off, my order arrived and thank you for the lovely card as well. Having a bit of excitement here. Woke up Saturday a.m. to no heat. Found someone to finally come out and take a look at the furnace. Carbon monoxide detected, slight but still there so by law he had to shut the gas and electrical to it off. It was 19 years old and although we could legally claim the 20 yr warranty on the heat exchanger, between labor and possible other parts wearing out, will opt for a new one. Just ever so thankful it was caught early as none of the detectors registered it in the air. Having someone out tomorrow to let me know what the damage will be for a new one. We've been blessed with a couple of less than frigid days. Today was near 40 and tomorrow near 50. Space heaters keeping the pipes and us warm enough. Will be MIA probably Monday and Tues at this point. Not sure if they can get a new one installed by then or not. Fingers crossed. I guess it's a Merry Christmas to me sort of year. The live and replay were great. Will check in when I can.

P., regarding your experiment with the string\ tissue paper: did you try using a "water brush" ( the type you unscrew the actual brush and fill the reservoir with water)? With some practice, it gives more control than using a wet rag or sponge. I have played with it and still have a way to go, but it does give more control M., in regards to your comment about y'all not being sprinters, but in for the distance, I will take a phrase from the hit Broadway show, "A Chorus Line," and say you and P. are "peripatetic, poetic and chic!"😊

I will make sure she reads this as I am not sure what her process was exactly. You are too kind and it is much appreciated.

I have tried the water filled brush--a not very successful endeavor--M loves it! PPC! That is us:)
@jeraldbaxter35329 сағат бұрын
@@patriciarcarmichael1219 I am sorry that the water brush did not work; the only other thing I have tried is reading select passages from my journal, then carefully allowing the tear drops to fall in the spaces that I want holes. I tried spitting but that either instantaneously dissolved all the paper or caused it to burst into flames. To quote Paulette Goddard, in "The Women," " Where I spit, no grass grows." 😉

My translator pronounces it "care on dash." The "on" is a little Frenchified (not to be confused with French fried). I happen to be swatching my Neocolor Is as I watch the replay.
