OMG!!!! Thank you so very much for this download. Perfect Russian, perfect expression and marvelous Lensky. This performance has pierced my soul. The first few lines are on my husband's (zt'l) gravestone. It had a lot of meaning to us. Thank you again, Lohengrin. Thank you, Mr. Gedda. May you rest in peace.

Was there ever a better Lenski? Heard him once at the National Arts Centre. Brilliant recital to half a house. Even back the people in Ottawa didn’t know anything.

Vocal perfection, but (compared to Lemeshev, Kozlovsky, or Grigoryev (1958 film)) maybe sounding a bit mature/too manly for a wronged/butthurt teenager reflecting on his life, idk. Still beautiful…

Great and forceful vocal expression, perfect technique but … this is not an emotionally hurt man just before committing suicide. Look for Lemeshev‘s rendition to find an appropriate interpretation
