I stayed there same room about 5 yrs ago with my husband, we got an unbelievable deal about a 100.00 it was wonderful, food great , loved fiesta

Hey James, one thing I've noticed about a lot of these rooms is that what they do on the balcony is sparce. I've been to resorts where there is a nice setup almost like a living room out there with an outdoor couch or a comfy swing for two with a nice coffee table too. Loved that view for sure on this one.

Can't wait for the review video. I haven't stayed here, I think off the top of my head it was because of lack of beach. The Flaming Cheetos might just be enough for me to try resort. Hope you drove over to the no power side of the island. The views are spectacular.

We are currently at Ocean Riviera Paradise. Very family friendly. Beach is better than what you described, maybe they cleaned it up since your visit. Mexican rst is good, drinks are good, overall good vibe for those with kids 👍

I heard they replaced sand. In Sept it was just giant sandbags from storms. Wonderful resort, I found much less kids on Eden end

Our family of 4 stayed in the same room in 2021. Our second stay. Wonderful room, stunning views and our second stay at the Fiesta (though technically our first stay was at the Explorean). Fortunately, we were there before they shut down virtually all of the amenities across the road. Unfortunately, we spent so much time over there, we won't go back unless (or until) they figure out a way to open up the restaurant, ceviche stand and the other amenities that were shut down.

This place looks so different now. I used to stay there when I did a lot of scuba diving. I remember the food was really good but room service was very very slow. Enjoy your stay and make sure you check out the Chankanaab underwater national park!

Have you traveled to Isla Mujeres? You would love it. My favorite hotel is Privilege Aluxes. The upgraded rooms with private pool on rooftop is a must.

Great video as usual, James! Question. Were there any issues with the pools that you noticed? Because I read quite a few recent TripAdvisor reviews about the pools missing tiles, and people getting cut from jagged tiles!
