I honestly don't know if this is a troll video or not. Sorry if it isn't, and on the off chance you truly think this, I'll break down why you're wrong. its gonna be a long one. For the record I have 1k hours on Hunt, and I sincerely have never had even 1 suspicious encounter. There was ONE instance when the game first came out where I was spawn killed by a silenced nagant from across the map. ever since then, nothing even close to suspicious. Clip 1 You may have thought you shot him in the head, but weapon sway is a bitch. He heard where you were at all times because you were running around like crazy. did you notice he stopped once you crouched and stood still to listen while on the roof? This game encourages wall bangs, that's why none of the walls are solid, there's cracks in doors and walls, gaps in window sills, roofs, you name it. If you are not taking random shots in the direction of someone right outside your building, then you are not playing right. I can't believe some of the wall bangs I've hit on "accident". and it wasn't really an accident, I just heard someone, then shot where I thought the head was and got lucky. Your reaction to him being so aggressive proves why that playstyle works well. force people to panic with their single shot weapons and make them make a mistake. he made you make many. Clip 2 This entire clip shows that you are somewhat new, and all of the problems you were facing were due to lack of map knowledge and little game sense. thats not an insult, just an observation. at 6:11 you can hear his footsteps. notice how you didn't get shot until you made a STANDING step sideways more into view. he heard you move and saw your legs under the cloth. at 6:30 you misplaced his footsteps. map knowledge would tell you he most likely walked into that other building through the door closest to boss room. then he crouched and listened close to the door he just entered. at 6:43 you can see, just through your door, the window to HIS building that he shot you from after you made noise by moving. at 6:48 you incorrectly heard a zombie. any time playing this game and you would know that that was CLEARLY a hunter's footsteps. at 7:30 you again misplaced him. he is not over to your left as far as you think. he is just directly to your left most likely near the bonfire in the center of the courtyard. 7:36 you stop hearing him because he is crouch walking towards the door you got shot from. The loud plunk of him hitting wood is not him teleporting. it his him moving from the quiet mud sound, to the loud wood sound. KEEP IN MIND you are in the boss compound. with the assassin still alive, yelling and moving the entire time making it harder to hear. on top of that there is an armored making noise close to you that is also making it harder to hear. 7:57 he probably had no idea you were down the hallway with your back to him. until you lit your flare and gave your spot away. from 7:57 to 8:35 lets keep track of all of the things blocking your hearing.. 1. the flare 2. the loud screaming from the dying armored 3. the crack of thunder 4. the banish noise 5. the gunfire in the distance 6. you shooting 7. the fire you caused 8. you running 9. you stepping on glass (while running) at 8:35 he shot at you from where you entered the building originally. he then ran UNDER the building along the wooden walkway when you thought he was above you. he probably got there by crouch walking through the building by where you originally got shot at. and you didn't hear him because of all of the noise i just listed off 8:58 it was not through multiple walls. he was outside. like 10 feet away. at 9:45 he takes a shot at you from where you were just at. he got there "quietly" when you were loudly running around blowing up barrels and throwing lanterns to "cut off his maneuverability" and you didn't hear him crouch walking because there are 2 fires burning right next to you with the assassin still screaming 10:31 see the above list of noises 11:10 you didn't hear him jump. you heard him vault out of the water he fell in underneath the bridge. then you loudly climbed a ladder and RAN OVER METAL ACROSS THE ENTIRE ROOF 11:32 he did not run all the way down and he was not over there. he crouch walked back towards you while you sprinted over metal and he got in the building. you proceeded to walk around on metal and light a dynamite so he could clearly tell where you were. 13:29 I'll answer your question. when you lit the fuse right next to your ear, and threw it, he started running out that door to your left, then you started running in the same direction, over glass, obscuring his audio. then an explosion went off. no wonder you didn't hear him. To be honest, this reply is more than you deserve and not as much as you need. Hunt is a fun game, I hope you can take my analysis constructively and enjoy the game more in the future.

100% this. Also in the first clip if you slow it down to 0,25x you can clearly see that you hit him in the upper torso/left arm, not the head. This dude took his time to analyze your gameplay and give you a proper explanation and you did not even bother to give him a polite reply. In the end he was right, that answer is way more than you deserve.

He thinks he knows; I've commented to try and help him see that he's not actually correct, but he blatantly disregarded me then, too. For instance, the LeMat Carbine's Headshot pixel is 1 space over the top of the ironsight; if you put the ironsight on someone's head, you could miss. He aimed well low in this clip.

You're just not that good at the game. I'm not trying to call you a bad player, I'm not that good myself, but you need to understand that the amount of times you call cheats is a reflection on your ability to perform well. I've seen a few of your videos and most clips you say are 100% cheating are very basic, simple shots. Ok that first guy knew where you were because you were running (the loudest movement type in the game) and he just wanted to play turbo agro. Secondly, I would highly recommend educating yourself with how computers, operating systems, and networking works. It is extremely valuable knowledge when understanding software fuckery like this. Playstyle does not mean anything when judging if someone is cheating or not. Yes there are some sus things a player can do to hint at cheating (standing in the open, knowing things they shouldn't etc.) but playing turbo agro is not one of them. Yes! I do know what an RCE exploit is! And I am so familiar with them that I know that there is not one in Hunt Showdown! and, they wouldn't do all that work just to delete "an embarrassing moment" from your shadow play. if they could do that then what stops them from sending themselves a copy of your browser's cookies and finding out your passwords? nothing. but they didn't do that did they? that would be a major security risk that Crytek would fix immediately. So no, there is no RCE exploit in Hunt: Showdown. Winning a fight doesn't mean that your good, or even bad. All it means is that the enemy misplayed. Your push out that side of the building into the road is a terrible decision, it gives the enemy clear shot on your entire character while providing you no advantage whatsoever. In a situation like this I would peek the window that is about 5 meters behind you and see if I could get a shot off from there, if not, move to a window upstairs, or even the back courtyard. These positions provide me with cover, keep my enemy guessing where I will pop up next, and give me options to retreat if things go badly. Your push into the road does none of that. Summing up my points into "Yeah sure bro.. Just make up BS..." does nothing except degrade your credibility. I provide a claim, and reasoning. You essentially say "no, because I'm right and you're wrong." Does someone need to be a cheater to be concerned about another's mental health? I'll leave it at that because it seems obvious to me.
