A few types of hackers and this guy falls into the category of the casual player that isn't that good, got tired of getting shit on in every game and only getting a high kill game of 3 per day. Installed hacks so he'd stop dying in every fight. This is why I'm proud to never have fallen into this category. I'm not the best, but not the worst. Much better than from when I started and that's only because I've worked to improve my game play. I'll never be good enough to compete in tournaments, but I'll never be lowlife enough of a person to install cheats because of that.

Hacking is definitely worse than back in the verdansk days, just hack software is better and soft aim is harder to identify. Also find it incredible that ricochet apparently uses hundreds of data points to apply trust scores to accounts to identify hackers. But can’t identify that a brand spanking new account has a loadout saved with cosmic camos on a level 3 weapon. The anti cheat is just laughable

Such an easy solution to dramatically reduce hacking. Matchmaking should have a stop gap where you have lobbies that only fill with accounts that have 100+ hours logged. Stakes would be much higher for getting caught hacking, and spoof accounts wouldnt make it into the majority of lobbies.
