Great to hear some make a full recovery. Unfortunately insurance favors younger people. My grandma had a stroke but insurance refused to pay for physical and speech therapy after 3 months. Her dr claims it will be a waste of time. He doesn’t think she’ll be able to speak again. I haven’t given up on her so I’ve been practicing with her and she recently said “yes.” So I have hope but unfortunately insurance and some drs give up way too soon.

This was very informative. I loved it! I work with students with special needs and autism, so I am also exposed to Speech Therapist, Physical Therapist, and Occupational Therapist.
