Speech vicerector Peter Lievens Una Europa - Opening Academic Year 2022-2023 | KU Leuven

Since 2018, KU Leuven has been part of Una Europa, an alliance now made up of 11 leading European research universities.
Peter Lievens, Vice Rector of International Policy and coordinator of Una.Universitas, elaborates on the importance of the unique Una Europa alliance. In addition, Una Europa rectors Peter Mathieson (University of Edinburgh), Günter M. Ziegler (Freien Universität Berlin) and Sari Lindblom (Helsingin yliopisto/Helsingfors universitet) talk about the major challenges Una Europa can tackle, and explain which joint research and education initiatives offer the most opportunities.
