The 90's were the Golden Era of action movies. I have fond memories of watching Speed and other Hollywood action movies on 70mm film Screen, with Dolby Digital SOund, way back in 90s. That feeling is unmatched even today!!

I watched with my dad and my little brother when it came out and since then it is my favorite movie ever. I guess because of the fact that we went to see it with Dad. He rarely took us to the movies or did anything with us as kids in terms of sport or whatever (he wasn´t a bad Dad, just not engaging one)....but that movie event was a nice memory for me.

As far as I know, Tappy Iwase (the one who did the theme for the first MGS) took some cues from Sviridov's "Winter Road" and this, while Harry-Gregson Williams expanded upon Iwase's work
