I purchased my hunter last year. Bike was good but I think its underpowered and 5 speed gearbox didn't do justice with the performance. However at which price levels you are getting that bike is value for money. But when triumph launched speed 400, I put my hunter on sale immediately and booked Triumph. Full Led setup, USD shocks and 40ps power is enough to change my mind from hunter to triumph.

I heard that Hunter haa stiff suspension and not at all comfortable along with that engine heat issue has not resolved yet. So what's your take on these issues??

@@Mercy789 Yes engine heating is an issue as there is no liquid cooling. You will feel heat on your legs specially under thighs. Even fuel tank gets heat up if u ride 30 km+. Suspense is stiff but you won't feel so much in city ride.

But what about servicing, their service centre..!? That's the main issue stopping me right now from purchasing this spectacular machine!! RE showroom is just next to my house man, but there's no triumph showroom in the whole city here 🙂 (what should I do, which one should I choose?)

Suspension wala chutia giri har jagah dekne ka mil raa hee . I had driven (RE HUNTER 350) 300 km in day don't fell that much about suspension. It's really comfort. Total i had done 3500+ KM. ...... Speed 400 ka design is inspired from old pulasr 150 .

Bhai maine b triump speed 400 liya he with family pune to Kolhapur, jyothibha ghum ke aaya same say ride kiya 602 km with my wife, daughter, son . Make comfortable ride minimum speed 95 and max speed 125 chalaayi bike. Aur raha speed 400 ka engine heat issue itna nahi laga jab aap highway pe ride karoge to. Sirf heat ho gi traffic me hoga. Bike bahot accha triump.❤❤❤

no comparison between the 2 , hunter is a slow speed bike with a slow engine and bad rear suspension, triumph is comfortable gives stability and feels planted , dont take the hunter if you think ur buying a good re . take the classic if you want a genuine re , and a guy planning longer rides and wants to learn on his first bike take the triumph , seed 400 will let you fix your mistakes , hunter will kill youu as its not stable at higher speeds

bhai aagar itna hi seekhna hai tho cb shine le lo 1 lakh aur bach jaye ga aur ghar bhi nahi jayega XD. Bhai bolra hai ki shock are tuned better on RE LOL. Bro RE is god when it comes to Classic series but hunter was IDK why not good in comfort. My brother own a hunter and he regrets every bit of the hunter. Bro says ki highway pe better hai bhai muze nahi pata ki is bande ko pata bhi hai ki speed offers a preload adjustable rear suspension. The triumph guy says mirrors are bad, not at all people bas adjust kar na sekhlo. Hunter was a ok bike till triumph was not in the market but things have changed.

Every rider can start on 400cc. If one buys a good powerful bike , no need to change for 7-8 years (unless you have lot of money ). Trust me RE service is pathetic and deteriorating day by day with increasing vehicles( I have a Himalayan for 7+ years now). Enfield is becoming tata of the bike world in current time( service wise). Buy triumph if you have a service centre in your city. Always save and buy better bike

Hunter 350 is a very competent bike. For the price, it's value for money. while riding in city condition it can match any bike. If u r a solo rider u will be flying all day. Whoever is complaining that it is under powered at low speed should work on their gear shifting.

Don't compare these bikes except you wanna compare the design or the type or purpose of the bikes. They are city bikes with a tracker look. But the similarity ends there. Power, performance, capabilities, ride experience, etc are drastically different. Engine capacity is not so different but the power and torque difference is twice, therefore the feel and experience difference will be twice. One goes to 160kmph and the other hardly hits 120 kmph with stress on the engine of hunter 350. One takes 7 seconds to reach 0 to 100 and the other takes 12 seconds. So you do the math.

I took a test ride of hunter, personal opinion, I felt the handle bar too low and may be due to that the front felt quite heavy to manoeuvre. Coming from a n250 owner. I think the new Himalayan 450 can be the next big thing for RE.
