@richduperbash29664 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Tobias 👍. Buggys are challenging to flip. Your setup sounds fine. I'm thinking punch level 5 and more wheel mass. The stock Typhon Katars are ultra light. It's possible to flip them, but takes the right lift and full throttle on takeoff. The Proline MX buggy tires are a great buggy wheel option. Beyond that, going full Truggified with 2.8 Prolines makes for a flipping Beast. Strapped MX28's or original 2.8 17mm hex Trenchers both work. I'm not a fan of the newer belted options. Too stiff and heavy. Just realize you want to swap for Kraton/Outcast hubs, hexs, and stub axels for proper wheel clearance. 😎💪👊👊

Thanks Brother 👊. The Talion is a fantastic basher. Pretty sure the aftermarket V2-V4 Kraton 6s braces, shocks, and towers will work on the V1 Talion. I think the biggest difference was the axels and driveshafts and likely the hubs 🤔. I never owned a V1, but going off memory. 🍻😎💪👊👊

These are front and rear Turnigy Trackstar 1/8 buggy/truggy shocks with lighter 32.5 weight oil and lighter Team Durango springs. I'm not sure if they're still available to be honest 🤔. Which is more durable the typhon 3s or 6s?
@richduperbash29662 жыл бұрын
That's difficult to answer because lighter rigs generally have an inherent durability advantage due to physics. I can say both have proven extremely durable. The Typhon 6s might get the nod with the alloy chassis and steel CVD driveshafts. It's possible to break the 3s chassis if you land on sharp rocks...etc vs alloy flexing and bouncing off. If you keep the 3s light, it takes an impressive hammering. 🍻
