I have a fun idea for a workshop hunters video. We look for creations that have very complicated mechanisms, and then see how well those complicated mechanisms handle the game's different physics settings.

That 30 min build is terrific and totally buildable in survival!! The small wedges would be a 'stretch goal' though since you need 16 :)

LOVED IT! -The first walker reminds me of a table. -I think the second walker would look awesome at twice it's size and kitted out for war. -The third walker makes me think: city bus on legs.

Multiplayer Monday idea, use the same 1 minute 5 minute 30 minute format for 3 races and if the race ends in a tie, 1 hour long build.

when you said that the 30 minute walker looked like it was frolicking as if it was in a field of flowers, and that the 5 minute walker looked like it was walkin with purpose, I just pictured what it would look like for the 30 min walker and just a godzilla sized version of the 5 min one just ominously towering behind it

Unfortunately you can’t make airtight builds in scrap mechanic so they would basically end up just being underwater cars/planes. 😐

What about a multiplayer speedbuild race? You need go three laps or sections to race and before each you need to build a vehicle capable of traversing the course in 1, 5 and 15(?) minutes and see who would come first.

Actually it's normal for the flat surface wedges to have more friction than the jagged ones, since there is more surface area in contact with the ground or whatever. Jagged surfaces are only good if there is liquid or mud/rocks involved (those can go between the 2 surfaces and minimize friction), and that's why tires for rain and off-road aren't smooth but road racing tires are

I would like to see Scrapman do this in reverse starting with the 30 min, then the 5 minute then the 1 minute. I think the pressure will be higher for him when he does the 1 minute and more challenging as he would be used to being able to be more complicated and efficient due to doing the longer builds first.

Another idea: Build a piston engine (no car, just engine) doesn't have to be functional, that would be way too tricky for 1 minute/30 seconds and 3/5 minutes
