Actually it's normal for the flat surface wedges to have more friction than the jagged ones, since there is more surface area in contact with the ground or whatever. Jagged surfaces are only good if there is liquid or mud/rocks involved (those can go between the 2 surfaces and minimize friction), and that's why tires for rain and off-road aren't smooth but road racing tires are

Last walker is nice! but for reference in terms of enjoyment in creative or usefulness for survival.... the Max speed of the final product is 90% of player running speed, so for survival its a waste of material unless you double bearing and double controller all legs for more speed and for creative its not going to keep up with any vehicle with the lowest engine setting. Ive seen this design is still stable after doubling the rotation speed with double bearings and another controller, a third controller makes it tricky and unstable if you go beyond speed 2 in the 3rd controller. Further more adding 1-4 lvl 5 thrusters will not increase the speed by more than 10% because of the friction and adding more thrusters will make the legs useless and unbalance the build.

I would like to see Scrapman do this in reverse starting with the 30 min, then the 5 minute then the 1 minute. I think the pressure will be higher for him when he does the 1 minute and more challenging as he would be used to being able to be more complicated and efficient due to doing the longer builds first.
