So, we live in an older home that has its original kitchen, completely outdated so much so that it doesn't even have a dishwasher. It's on our list to remodel, "someday", but until then we're stuck with what we have. I absolutely dread washing dishes by hand, it's my least favorite chore. So I usually let them pile up on the counter or in the sink until I get around to washing them, usually at the end of the night and then I'm left with a massive pile of dishes that takes me 30-45 min to wash. So I took your dirty 30 challenge and set my timer to see how long it really took me to wash breakfast and lunch dishes. To my surprise it only took 10 minutes to not only wash the dishes but completely clean the kitchen as well. Never leaving them until evening again. 👊

Ahhh ! That was terrible! Shame on him!! I raised a Canada Goose for about 3 years. My husband brought her home from the plant , she was waddling down the center of a busy plant road where heavy equipment ran. Well anyway, I raised her ( we found out in a couple years that she was a girl when a gander came a courting!) . I was so excited when they took off in flight when a neighbor dog ran down the field, well--- she didn't want to go back to nature!! She did a U-turn in flight and walked up to our gate, honked and wanted let back in. LOL !! She was SO funny, she'd fly over the fence and then always walk up to the gate to get back in. Oh my, I've so many stories to tell about that goose, her name was "Snuggles".

I live in Virginia and we have Canada Geese here, it is painful to watch them cross the street because people just don't stop for them and now with the babies I just can't take it. I moved a baby today and yes dad was not too happy, the baby was sick, and they kept trying to cross the street the baby looked like a drunken sailor, something was off so I moved the baby to the other side. I won't do that again I learned my lesson but I just couldn't help myself :P By the way your dirty 30 works! I can't say I am consistent yet but my kitchen has stayed relatively clutter free and it has never been that way for more than a day. :) Thanks!

Love your cleaning checklists! The kids and I did a 30 min. earlier today also! I changed it a bit and our large family can do the entire house in 30 min racing the clock. I also have a quick 15 if the place isn't too bad. Usually end a big clean with a treat for everyone which makes it rewarding to enjoy in a clean home. Sorry we have also hit a few Canadian geese also with babies. Traveling interstate with a semi next to us and one behind made it too dangerous to slam on the brakes and there was no possible way to avoid them. We also had two exchange students (teen boys) with us who thought it was hysterical as the rest of the kids screamed. A nearby pond has quite a few and they make a mess of the trails.

Absolutely love your home!! Do what I've done for years! Get you a fan a box fan works great,some stand fans do too..They block all the outside noise it's great!! My mom worked nights and I got use to the sound as a child!! Wow your house is gorgeous not sure I would want a rice in my back yard!! LOL 😂 In Texas it would flood!!! You are so right about setting your mind to something and getting it Done It literally takes no time at all As long as you don't try to perfectionist clean! My husband works at a college, and it is like a goose haven. No one knows why. The security guards' main job is shooing them off the walking tracks so they don't attack unsuspecting joggers...hehe. (Small town, not much happening fortunately.) Anyway, I went there yesterday and the campus was COVERED in groups of babes. So cute! I'm surprised the students have not discovered yet what happens when you pick up a baby. Only a matter of time until someone gets brave. :)

I have a question for you about your reveal mop...What solution do you use? I've been using vinegar, water and a bit of Dawn in ours, but I'm not very happy with the results. Always looks cloudy, leaves prints easily, etc... We also find our trigger doesn't spray well on ours. I'll be squeezing the trigger like 10 times before I get a little mist. I've read that this can be a problem. Do you deal with that at all?

At driving school they teach that drivers should continue to drive if they see geese because it's supposedly dangerous. There was a lady who went to jail I think in Quebec because she abruptly stopped for the geese and actually caused a fatal crash.
