This video features a Friday 10x100m speed endurance workout at around the mid-season mark. The weather wasn’t great, but it was fun to train in the snow for the first time in a while; hopefully it will be warm for most future workouts though. Let me know if you enjoyed in the comments and stay tuned for a video per week through the end of the season, and then 2 videos per week throughout summer.

Great workout 🎉 shi...y wearher but the times were impressive 🎉 How many of those sessions would you do during the week and for how many weeks would you go on with this workout?

Only one session with this type of speed endurance work per week. You can do this workout early in the week during most of your offseason an preseason, I would avoid it during comp season.

UNC alum here thanks for the video. I will be using this for my daughters for soccer and track. They are in middle school and high achool. How often should we do this?

For soccer, I would use shorter distance reps as acceleration is key (I played for 15 years). If you are doing this style of workout consistently, I would say no more than once per week. Start out at a workout like 2x3x60m, then slowly progress up in reps as well as distance in m, in order to allow for the proper base in work capacity.

If you are on a High School team, your coach will most likely pick which events they think you’ll do best in 👍🏻 Just ask them

Get a stop watch--30 - 40 dollars most.

This workout should only be done 1 time per week max. You would also incorporate some shorter speed workouts/acceleration focused

Have never gotten to run an open when I'm in peak shape so only 50.2, relay pr is 48.7

I’m not sure why you are doing 100s Different distances train different things (All in meters) Resisted 30 - acceleration 60 - Top Speed 100 - Waste of time 180, 150, 120 - Sprint endurance Theres more

And that’s your opinion. There’s far more nuance to the sport of sprinting than simple categories, hate to break it to you! My training is working great for me 👍🏻🤔
