I think the quality of the paint really made this much harder work than it needed to be.

Yes perhaps, I don't like using model paints on terrain, but this may have been a time to make an exception!

Cool idea with the dry brushing on the windshield. Might help to do that first (since it's messy work) and then do the base coats after the dry brush so you can neaten up any of the over-brushing that hits the main body of the car.

Yeah that is not a bad shout. I don't think either way really matters. I do highly suggest airbrush or spray, or good quality paints at least!

I am a messy painter! One thing I always try is to paint the parts before assembling. I feel it minimizes the redoing the small mistakes. After assembling then I'll do the wash.

@@TerrainMadeEasySpray white primer , but i tried brushing on color and it streaked all over the place.. but my end results were similar to yours except the windows i did different. so i was happy to see i was not to far off normal!

@@scottmilbuta4417 Getting the base colour I did find difficult, I think just cause of large flat surfaces. If you fancy posting pics on the terrain made easy group I'd love to see it :)

A white base would have been better ,2 thin coats or an airbrush. Good video hope to see more MCP on your channels

I did use white for the yellow taxi. and I don't like using an airbrush for videos :(

Yeah because the Marvel game is more like modern day, I didn't want to do any rust.
