In this video i paint the restored and saved Archaon Everchosen Model from Age of Sigmar. I used the Neurotyrant Models and Neurolids from the Leviathan starter box from the 10th Edition of Warhammer 40000. I also kitbashed it with carnifex parts, carapace and green stuff.
In this video I will show you how i painted this model like the Xenomorphs from the Alien films!

dude. this is about the 18th version of xenomorph scheme i've seen hunting down the right one for the squad i'm about to paint, and it's by far the best. i mean, there are some good techniques out there, but a proper xeno is a)metallic, b)blue in the chitinous bits and muddy in the fleshy bits, and c)glossy wet. everyone else's schemes get at most some combination of two of the three, but this is the first one i've seen to nail all three.

Your model inspired me to make my own giant space bug monster thingy. I 3d pint stuff, so my model will be slightly different, plus I’ll be using zbrush for my sculpting. I will be kit bashing though sort of. I’ll be starting off my model using a beholder I found online. Hopefully it comes out just as amazing as yours. Love your work, keep it up!

Very nice man looks wicked man love the idea of it but can I ask why the crushing claws and not the large talons

I was going for a Chthulu vibe and they are more sea creature looking. So the claws fit better as they are like crab claws. Also the scything talons would have been in the way of all the tentacles and would have looked a tad janky

Very nice, if I were to try something like this myself the only two changes I would likely make are one to fuck it up cause I'm not that good, and two use a blue rather than a turquoise.

Thank you for this painting tutorial. Out of all the xenomorph style paint jobs on KZbin this is the first one where it had the feel of a xenomorph without destroying all the detail. I'll certainly be using this technique as a base for my new Tyranid swarm 😊

Started collecting miniatures again because of your painting videos. I want to paint heresy era dark angels using your black templar video as a guide, hopefully it will work. If you look at reference photos, there are many different types. They have blue, flesh, metallic, black etc.
