you can monitor Exhaust VCT Actual on your accessport to be able to tell.

yes we've been including a fix in all of our engines.

@@BigBadBillyGATEZ yes it's the same thing - To add to the 100whp statement: It is only true when you have the turbo capable of producing enough power. For example; if you have an NX2 and it's already maxed out at ~520whp. Fixing the issue will not net you more power but it will make the engine much safer. You will see some power gains but not 100whp

When you talk about the vvt are you referring to the cam phaser is the main issue not the vvt solenoid presumably?

So this affects all previouse 2.5 builds or also depends on how tubed we are and how much whp we are pulling from the engines?

some cars experience it & some don't. It does depend on how much power the engine is producing though.

Is this an issue with the 1.6 ecoboost as well? I assume it's the same vvt system right?

we're unsure if it's there's an issue with the 1.6L - however, it is not the same VVT system.
