Actually, more like an idiot just putting parts without knowing what he is doing. Had he known what he was doing that manifold would not be there to fail. One other thing may be going on they may have intentionally boosted it high to induce a failure to have a youtube video to post. In that case they win.

Don't forget after they put all the plastic in or on heat sources, they cover the engine with other plastic coverings keeping more heat trapped. Not only that they cram the engines into the tightest bays they can.

@@dfresh5331 shop I work at if we spot the black plastic parts turning brown we recommend all the plastic parts in the cooling system be replaced. Intakes not so much unless they get pressurized. We have also gotten to where we no longer repair intake runner flaps and choose a full replacement of the intake assembly.

When you talk about the vvt are you referring to the cam phaser is the main issue not the vvt solenoid presumably?

@@BigBadBillyGATEZ yes it's the same thing - To add to the 100whp statement: It is only true when you have the turbo capable of producing enough power. For example; if you have an NX2 and it's already maxed out at ~520whp. Fixing the issue will not net you more power but it will make the engine much safer. You will see some power gains but not 100whp

What type of cylinder head you decide to use is irrelevant to the issue. The VVT running away from its target at higher RPM is the issue. Though the affects were stronger on 2&3, it doesn't mean that the rest of the cylinders were okay. Cylinder #1 was still .001" out of round.

Well after my brand new esp 2.3 stroker took a shit with the block casting having a pin hole in it wonder if I should put my stock engine in it or go with this. Have had nothing but trouble with the esp 2.3 stroker.
