I know this is an old video, but I'm gonna being doing a similar build soon, aos t3 frame, hyperlite 1303.5 5022kv motors, 450-650mah 2s, happymodel x12 aio, hq 3x3x3 props, auw is between 74 and 94 depending on battery size. This should be a super efficient build over 10g per watt at 50% throttle! While still getting a 8:1 to 10:1 thrust to weight at 100% throttle and a 5g per watt efficiency! That's cinewhoop efficiency but freestyle drone power

I am starting to love the 3 inch class! I used to be into large (7-10 inch builds), but the tiny quads are getting better and better, I can't ignore them. They are so durable cause they are so light. Crashed my ER349 real bad this morning, no damage except for one bent propeller.

Big fan of this size, I've got a build on the rcx 1304-5000kv. $7 per motor without the warranty, 1106 weight and 1106+ power. I don't think 4s is worthwhile, you can get a bit more power, especially on lower kv but the 3s power, control and volume is so good with the lighter batteries it takes away from what makes it great.

@@charleswarwick4849 I'm currently using the gemfan 3028s, not settled on a frame yet, been using various hacked x frames i have. I have a flexrc slim-x 3" which I intend to use when my 16x16 electronics show up.

Check out the EMAX Avan Mini 3x2.4x3 props, they're awesome on my lightweight 3" build with 1106 6000kv motors.

Awesome review, really looking forward to getting my frame. I will also be using BETAFPV 1105-5000 with the 3X3X3 props. I actually already tried this combo on a recent build called the Bandito where I had 1103-7500 motors with 2 blade props and it flew OK but after seeing your posts on FB I purchased the 1105 and 3 blade props and holy crap what a difference. My Bandito is about 10g heavier than the TWIG AUW but flys really nice so looking forward to a lighter TWIG build with more performance.

While it's not a screamer, I like the rcx 1304 5000kv with low pitch 3" triblade gemfan props. Lots of flight time and really quiet.

I got a 2.5" & 1106 6000 of but it keeps doing some weird failsafe, or maybe it's the motors vibrating and messing with the FC, You'll be flying around just fine and then it almost falls out of the sky

Remember all the hype around 2S power whoops? Nobody has even mentioned the 3S version of the 75X. I mean a 3S whoop is a pretty big deal I think, and there’s not one review.. Have you tried flying it yet???

so i have a betafpv hx100 but the frame isnt all that strong on the version 1 frame...so i guess this frame may the strongest or most durable frames out ,so hopefully i can have better luck with the racer x frame..an suggestions? im hoping the vtx from the betafpv hx100 will work with this canopy. does the flight controller need softmounted gummies or anything?

Hey Nate, off top of ur head, whats the highest amp draw? I saw up to about 17amps on your video. I have a CB v2 on my TWIG and my HM 1103 6k motor screws are pulling out....want to upgrade to 2mm screws and better motors👍Cheers

Any of those will work. I now use the 1204 motors on my TWIG. They run great, but 1105 was good too. I showed the 1204s in another video. Haven’t tried 1303. Good luck.

Either of those would work, and they would feel smoother but have less grip in the fast turns. I would probably use one of those props on 4S, but stick with 3S for the 3x3x3’s. Hope that helps. Have fun!

I just published a review of the HX115. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWSzeoGNbLN7a8k Personally, I prefer to TWIG for freestyle. The TWIG is lighter, has a cool look, and a super durable canopy solution. But both builds fly great.

Have you tried this on a 4s battery with 3x3x3 props? I'm concerned that the ESCs may not be able to hold up on 4s with 3x3x3 props, so I haven't tried that yet.

It does not need 4S. I like it better with a lighter battery. But yes, I have flown it on 4S. I raced on a full size MultGP track at 100% throttle. Surprisingly, the ESC survived, but one of the 1105 5000KV motors died. Maybe the continuous throttle heated it up. Or maybe I was unlucky with the motor. But the ESC has been fine for me. I don't think the quad ever pulls more than 18A (total).

How the fly time? How do you thing if build 3inch with 1103 with hqprops 3" biblade. Looking for bit longger fly time and bit power. 🤔🙋

1103 + 2-blades works for sure. Flight time might be a little longer, but it all depends on how you fly, battery size, etc. Have fun!

hi I got a question fo u I have a Rodeo 110 racing drone .. n am so much of a newbie when it comes to Acro flying n lol I was trying to do a Acro flip and crashed onto concrete doing Tumbleweed rule ..n now my left front motor twitches did I bust the motor or the ESC .. n am a newbie when it comes to soldering .. I don't have a smoke stopper so if I got a motor soldered it on would I have risk of Fire or drone battery exploding on me ? ..it's been down for about 6 months

Chech the wires from the motor to the ESC. One disconnected wire will do that. If you want to experiment, you could also swap two motors. If the same motor has the problem, in a new position, then you know the problem is the motor. If the problem continues in the same position (different motor) then the problem is the ESC. Good luck.

hello dear friend i just found your channel after i order my parts for my twig so i bought 1103 7500 kv that are rated for 2s... so i was wondering if i use bf throttle limit to 80% i could use 3s gnb since i have more 3s then 2s... thanks for your videos im addicted now :) regards from portugal :P

You could try it, but 7500kv is pretty high for 3S. Start gentle and check for hot motors. The TWIG can use 3 inch props. I suggest starting with the HQ 3x2 2-blade props.

Yes, I think so. These HQ 3x3x3 props are super quiet on a light weight build.

Yeah, on a small technical track, this 3-inch would rock, but on a larger track, the raw power/speed of 5-inch would still win out.
