This song is so fucking good. And the sound of thunder storm which you can hear in the final part, Brian recorded in Montreux when there was big storm. Very underrated song. I recommend you to react to White Man, from A Day at the Races

So nice to see someone give the same love to a song that I love. I think I maybe heard this song 362 times and still got goosebumps with this review. Jazz was the first album I bought as a teen and I was shocked that such things exist. Listened to it again and again.

How does Freddie sing SO freakin' fast?! And as David said on pitch. Amazing. And Brian with his magic fingers blasting through those threads. Slam, bam thank ya ma....May. Yow! 😃

You’re reactions are so entertaining, I always finish with a smile on my face. Freddie’s vocal range in this is amazing! He keeps surprising me! You’ve done so many Queen songs now, it’s hard to remember which ones you haven’t done...Have you done Liar? Early Queen Love at The Rainbow. Fantastic (but too short) bass solo in that one, and no need to mention Freddie’s vocals are sublime as always

Yay, one of my favorite Queen songs! A masterpiece in its own right, very complex and you catch something new every listen. Plus it means something - so many people live in such a hurry, pushing pushing in that rat race; not wanting to miss any opportunity to get ahead, FOMO, never staying in the moment because something better may be just ahead if you only get there at the exact right moment - dead on time - and yet where does it get you? You can't take it with you, and a life of always leaving people and places, always stressed, still ends the same way - death. So ironic.

Awesome reaction! I love this song. Jazz is one of my 3 favorite Queen albums. I don't think you've done Bicycle Race yet. I remember when it was on the radio all the time. It's a very catchy song, with a lot of references to events of the time, and a video that got banned in the U.S. In fact even the album cover needed to be changed for the U.S. I think it is hilarious, definitely a Freddie tongue-in-cheek creation!

This song absolutely should have been a single back when the Jazz album was released in 1978. I was 15 when I got this album and it was this track that I loved the most. The sheer attitude of it was breathtaking. Over the years I quite often felt that Queen were releasing the wrong tracks as singles and this is definitely one of the songs that most people just don't know about but should know. Jazz was the album that produced the world famous Don't Stop Me Now and Fat Bottomed Girls b/w Bicycle Race. Maybe it was considered too "metal" at the time to be released for mainstream radio stations but as a rock track it just bleeds pure energy and should be regarded as a rock classic.
@johngraham59962 жыл бұрын
i agree with you there stephen, although the singles were great and very successful i always felt there was better songs, ok maybe not better than bo rhap and somebody to love but it would be hard to seperate a few of them as to which were singles or not? more Queen music should have made it to the mainstream public 👑✊🇬🇧

John Deacon wrote "In Only Seven Days" on the Jazz album. Probably the most beautiful two and a half minutes you will ever hear. Listen to it 8 or 10 times over a week or so. Freddie sings about a pretty girl he sees while on vacation. The lyrics and song structure are stunning. This tune should get more love. Adieu de le noix Queen canadienne. My french might be fucked sorry.

JackThatBack!, First timer tonight and I love it. I'm on about my 7th in a row. I like it because you're good and the comments reflect a load of intelligent Queen fans, Nice. Since I first heard We Will Rock You on the radio in the car going to hockey practice when I was 11, I've never looked back. Still love a shitload of other 70's bands but Farookh and the others in the band just touched me more. If you haven't heard of him, I urge you to seek out a dude named Marc Martel. I believe he's from Quebec canada. No one can replace Freddie, but watching Marc Martel at the piano doing Freddie will give you chills. He also provided some backing vocals on the Queen movie. Cheers from the canadian Queen nut.

David, my friend, the album Jazz has some cool, amazing, out of this world songs, check them out! 😉😜 This one is sooooo good...well, why the surprise? It's a Queen song 😎😎😎😎 And another one we could say is the beginning of trash-metal, don't you think? Loved your reaction, and all 4 were so on point. Freddie with the vocals, Brian with the guitar (and those lyrics), John with the bass and Roger with the drums. On point, always on point! Those guys leave me out of breath with their talent. Damn!!!
