OMG!! I can’t believe you guys are reacting to DEAD ON TIME!! I constantly request this song on reaction channels. YESSSS .. Speed Metal Queen!! The thunderstorm at the end was recorded by Brian May from his backyard! ⚡️⛈💦 Love this song!! Thank you so much!! BRIGHTON ROCK 🙏🏻🙏🏻

You should listen to more Early Queen they are very heavy and Instrumental,another fast pulsing your breath song😅 is "Stone Cold Crazy" live at the Rainbow🤟 it's a must, its epic👏👏👏

This song just kicks so much ass... I fucking love when Queen goes full on metal! Curiosa, the lightning striking the studio was actually real lightning. It wasn't a studio effect! You gotta listen to the heavy stuff guys! Queen has LOADS of heavy songs!
@reactionextraction2 жыл бұрын
Yes 😎!! great suggestion and your right, more heavy stuff! We both really liked it. Now the next question is where should we start with Pink Floyd ??
@vovindequasahi2 жыл бұрын
@@reactionextraction Do the early Syd Barrett stuff, then explain about Syd. Then do "Shine On You Crazy Diamond". Skip the "Dark Side..." stuff that everybody does. Overrated album. Do some of the heavier stuff.

With Queen do some songs from "Sheer Heart Attack"! He'll appreciate the mixing I think!

The guitar is filthy, the drums are incredible. The song in its frenzy describes how crazy life is when you spend the whole time chasing money, in a hurry to move ahead and win, and before you know it - you leave at your time, you're dead.

I personally love this song and it's definitely a hidden gem many people skip out , Jazz album has some really good songs which i personally think gets overshadowed by Don't Stop Me Now and Fat Bottomed Girls While i don't really hate ''Radio Gaga'' , when i first heard it , it was definitely in the bottom of my favourite queen songs But it grew on me as i watched them perform it live , especially the performance at Live Aid , Freddie Mercury 's stage presence is unmatched and it became one of my favourite songs Maybe you could step away from the hard rock queen songs and 'muddy'' mixing as he called it and listen to something more stripped back , Maybe try My Melancholy Blues(Official Lyrics Video) or You Take My Breath Away live in hyde park 1976 , Love Of My Life Live at Wembley is another great choice

Queen has so much high quality music in the first seven albums that any kind of "best of" is a joke. You can't do Queen any kind of justice if you don't listen to the whole kit at least a few times.
@stevewynter45192 жыл бұрын
Excellent deep cut from Queen, What Ty needs to remember is that this music is pre digital there was no auto tuning and it was recorded on tape, It's the imperfections of older music which make it perfect and identifiable to a particular artist, STONE COLD CRAZY there is a 2021 remaster

Their first three albums are much heavier than the hits your dad is familiar with. You should make a point of checking those albums out. They were very experimental with their sound / studio work. Awesome. Especially with headphones.

That was the oddest compliment I have heard about Queen in a long while - "That was nice." FOUR words immediately come to mind: LIAR, STONE COLD CRAZY! Gotta look big picture - inside the whole frame.

This is seriously one of Queens most underrated songs. "Jazz" was actually a pretty good album, with Dead on Time and Let me entertain you being another two great songs. They're really overshadowed by Don't stop me now and Fat bottomed girls, and maybe even bicycle race? anyways, Queen has so many underrated songs it's not even funny.

The meaning of the album title Jazz doesn't refer to music. It refers to insincere or exaggerated talk. Example: Don't give me any of that jazz about your great music! It refers to the last song on the album called All of That Jazz by Roger Taylor. Sung by him as well, it is a great song. 80s Queen became more pop oriented on the whole with synthesizers that were popular at the time. When it came time to go on tour they made the songs rock out. Watch any 80s live Queen concert and you will see that the songs you didn't like much become rock songs with huge punch and great guitar solos. I Want To Break Free at Wembley 1986 has great guitar as does Action this Day live at the Bowl 1982. Early Queen is heavier. Liar and Stone Cold Crazy (which was covered by Metallica) and Ogre Battle Live at the Rainbow 1974 are great examples of early 70s heavy Queen. I'm not a big fan of studio Radio Gaga myself but in concert it is a huge favourite.

I was a Queen fan long before it became fashionable. 1982 got to finally see them, 4th row THE Boston Garden. Same place where we watched Bobby Orr and Larry Bird. I was about a " first down" from Freddy's white baby grand with the nursed Heineken atop. Curiously I also hate Radio Gaga. Observing the young creature on the left led to real interesting mind minutia. I never knew, for example, that Cannabis could reduced the human pulse to minus one beat per minute. I was aware that it had hallucinatory properties e.g. a stoner on a couch believing he's way ahead of the curve vs. Queen on everything from backing vocals to, the crux of it all , MIXING! You betcha! If they just knew how to MIX back then, who knows? "Dead on Time" could have contained all the energy, drive, dynamics and power of a fantastic piece of music! Such a shame . Got me thinking that one serious New Millennial Mixdown could bring a heart rate close to a deuce per minute! Damn .They were so close to the MAGIC. .Ah well. What can ya do? I'm gonna go mix some television now.

That kid to the left would'nt acknowledge the greatness of a pyramid standing right in front of it. You expose yourself. The mixes Queen made in the 70s with very limited equipment compared with today has stood the test of time. That is proven. Dead on Time is a rocker and was supposed to be a bit "dirty". Name one hit from todays charts that will be relevant in 40 years? Songs doesnt stand out anymore unfortunately. And let it be clear: Queen's music from the 70s were extremely well mixed with the technology available. Last remaster was in 2011. The songs sound like they are supposed to.
