103mph and 109mph! Very impressive! I love this plane! I wonder how the 70mm version compares to this one.

Well my 70 is the Bae Red Hawk. I have done a speed run before, here it is: kzbin.info/www/bejne/noPTgnyod8ZoZ8U

I've been told, the FMS BIG RED Hawk Jet 80mm EDF. It's faster, more agile, flight times are 2-3 minutes longer. May be the ticket.

If you land a little hard on the mains they will push up through the top of the wings .It happened to a friend of mine.

Same thing started with my X-fly Sirius but I caught it and repaired before it got worse.

If I recall correctly the Goshawk is what a lot of navy pilots do their first carrier landings in. Those rough landings are just very scale and look great! Good flying!

Nice ! Looks like you are having fun 😊 if you y harness the air brake to the reverse thrust , you can have the airbrake when you land .. down fall with doing that is you won’t be able to use them on final approach, but it doesn’t really need them ..
@FatGuyFliesRC11 күн бұрын
Basically I will treat the reverse thrust as replacing the speed brake.

Very nice, and good on the useable throttle on the battery. Bottom line, do you enjoy this more than your Freewing F-4 Phanton II 90mm?

Thanks, and 2 early to tell only have the 3 flights on this one.

Good morning Sir, but that can’t be done on a DSX, right? When you get the RTF version I believe it comes with that radio, and the HH guy in the video demo of the Habu uses it too. Thank you for your professional help.
@FatGuyFliesRC9 күн бұрын
It can be done on the DX9 as long as it has been updated with Forward programing, that I believe is the only DX transmitter it works with.

Very beautiful plane! Is it a fms.avanti 90mm competitor?
@FatGuyFliesRC11 күн бұрын
Yes as far as fun factor.

Hello there FGFRC, very cool looking jet and great video. I have an unrelated question. I can’t get my Habu STS’s nose gear to work with the rudder. The rudder is in channel 4, and works fine. The nose wheel is in #5 and it doesn’t work. I switch it and the nose wheel works, but no rudder. I’m also using the DSX transmitter. Hoping you can help. We do have an NX10, but my grandson prefers the DSX because it’s lighter, smaller and a lot simpler to use. Thank you, Anthony

You need to mix channel 5 and 4 together.

Would you be able to mix the reverse throttle with the air brake on the same switch ?
@FatGuyFliesRC11 күн бұрын
Yes but I wont, I use the bind button for my RT. But it is possible.
