We had a break in the weather (52 F) on 1 Feb 2022, I was off from work and the wife was busy. 'Twas perfect for a half-day trip up the Cherohala Skyway where the snowy peaks reminded me that it was still winter. And then down the tail of the dragon.
It was a great day for riding. I didn't feel sore and my back felt fine. The speed twin is a very comfortable bike.

Flash that ECU. Triumph left a lot of power and response on the table, restricted away in software... We tuned mine on the dyno with an X-pipe, stock headers, stock mufflers, stock air filter... and got nearly 104hp at the wheel, and 85ft/lbs and way better midrange throttle response... Now we get effortless 2nd gear power wheelies and its a proper little sportbike, hidden inside a tweed jacket.

Hi Don, Sorry for the late reply… The Nelson Rigg works just fine. It all depends on what look I am going for that particular day… it sure is nice to have options 👍

Hello, good ride with nobody on your way, a great pleasure. for my safety i use an app called "LibertyRider" (i'm french, so i don't know if you can subscribe it ). your phone detect your ride, your crashes and call you. if you can't answer because you are possibly wounded, they call emergency and give your GPS position. You can also send a SMS with your track in real time so your family and friends can follow you. ride safe. i recently bought the speedy in orange colour ;)

I'm in the market for a new bike and I'm kind of torn between a T120 and Speed Twin, My daily rider is a HD '21 SGS but I need something smaller and lighter to commute with. I owned a T100 a few years back and loved it, but not sure if I want to get another cruiser in the T120 or something a bit more sporty. 🤔

I certainly get it; it’s tough to choose as those are both good bikes… I don’t think you’ll go wrong with either. IF you haven’t done so, test ride both on your route to work (or similar roads to your commute) and see what you like better? The speedy is definitely the sportier and more agile of the two. Your ears are just fine 👍. The Insta360 action camera didn’t capture the bike’s sound very well. I may end up removing the baffles (dB killers) on the exhaust after my 500 mile service. Thanks for watching
