Chilled out vid on a chilled out bike with a great soundtrack. Only 200mile into ownership myself. All I have ever seen of Holland is motorway. This looks gorgeous.

make a walk around video please! with the exhaust sound. sounds awesome, I started to think to get this or Zard Full Kit SP 2:1. That sounds angrier but I guess it's double the price

Thanks man! Walk around video will be made soon. The Westlake Shorties are exactly the same as Cone Engineering's, but then without having the welds brushed again after the welding itself. That's why they have brown welds and marks next to it. This is easily removable within 5 min with a patch of red Scotch Brite and brushing them off again. You'll see that in the walk around. As for sound: this is without de-cat. They will sound even deeper, louder and with more grunt if you do the de-cat. MOTOBOB has made a video of a Thruxton R with that setup.

I've used a separate sound recorder from Zoom and placed it behind me on the seat with a "dead cat" around the mic. Make sure you clap in your hands once you're recording on both the GoPro and the Zoom and edit it together on video edit software.

@@rickslijkhuis6822 thx msn I use the zoom h1n and I can’t get rid of the wind muffle sound. I use a dead cat too. Low cut on, limiter on, 120hz...it’s annoying but you’re sounds clean! Maybe I’ll strap it on the seat. I mount mine like Van Blamm here on KZbin, but 😖

mooi geluid maar voor mij te, vinden de buren ook niet leuk als ik 's morgens om 6 uur vertrek, heb zelf de x pipe vervangen en dat is precies goed :-)

Vind het zelf ook op het randje. X pipe gaat het te hard maken, dus voor nu hou ik het even zo.

Hi, With cat it runs fine don't know what it will do without the cat. I did get a DNK Tuneworks tune to smooth out the throttle, but that's a general issue. Enen with stock setup. This is without db-killer.

You should get some exhaust sealant if you want to install them. There's a Cone Engineering install vid on YT that shows you how.

Do you mean the whining noise? It's the drive chain being to tight. Loosened it after this ride and the whining was gone.
