Speed Up Bambu Printer Startup.

Thank you for this video. I just got my X1C, which is a HUGE upgrade from my 8 year old Dremel 3D20 dinosaur, and I was looking forward to the huge speed increases. I used to get annoyed at how long the 3D20 took to heat up and start printing (maybe 2 minutes) so I was sitting there saying WTF when the first few test prints on the X1C had it doing a 6+ minute startup sequence every time! I knew some of the features were important and didn't want to skip everything and this code is exactly what I was looking for!

Thank you very much. I have been running the "fast" start gcode almost exclusively now. Once everything is level/calibrated I like leaning into speed for fast prototyping or general prints. I just looked up the Dremel and at 8yrs old it looks like a solid device. I didnt even know Dremel made a 3d printer. 🤔

This only works on the X1C?

It will work on p1p and p1s. Some of the start stuff that the X1C does doesnt apply to the P1 series like lidar checks. So your time reduction may not be as much.

Thankfully, i dont care how long setup is because im retired and have nothing else to do. When your doing a 4hr+ print is 5min gona make or break someones day? The printer is 4X faster than 99% of the other printers they came from 😂😂 However i do understand that a production machine, over a year, would be the exception. Thx Ashley!

I 100% agree on running the full calibration for very long prints. A few minutes here or there is hardly an imposition. Thank you for your comment.

For 30 min + prints I agree. But on short and 1-5 minute test prints it's s real pain in the ass to wait 6-7 min extra every time. Heat up, cool down, wiggle wiggle heat up, wiggle, cool down, make some moves, vibrate bed, heat up, wiggle cool down, wiggle, heat up, make calibration lines at front of bed even though that's UNCHECKED, then pretend to look at lines a few seconds. EVERY DAMN TIME.
