Haimer should give this guy a raise. He's really a good salesman. He speaks and shows very well.

Ran with one of these back in the day. Super fast, really easy to use/teach. Always used gloves while changing tools tho cause boy if you don't cool that tool down right... you gunna know it.

One question I have about balancing is if I'm running at 8,000 rpm on a BT30 spindle, with a tool holder that has ~0.0018" runout at 6" stick out, would balancing still be beneficial?
@iansandusky4173 жыл бұрын
That is a fantastic question that I will follow up on for ya - I’m out at Westec next week and I believe the Haimer folks will be there - I’ll do my best to chase down an answer!
@haimerusallc3 жыл бұрын
We always recommend balancing. While tool holders themselves may be prebalanced, that isn't the only thing going into the spindle. Things like collets, cutting tools, and pull studs can impact balance and in turn, negatively affect tool life, spindle life, and surface finish. Hope that helps!
