Had this helmet since it came out. Beat it up until now. Just ordered another one. After researching every full face from agv k6 to k1.. and I have no complaints from my experience with this helmet. The visor detents make this helmet a winner. Traffic and slow riding. Quiet in my opinion also. Comfortable.. vents work very good. And the style.. simple. Could rock it on a Harley...a sport bike. Whatever else. 👌

Would you say the ventilation on this helmet keeps the head cool during riding?

@@gooddaymate1171 very good ventilation. All vents are nice... Easy to operate with gloves. It's got the brow vent.. The chin. And the top of the head plus a few exit vents. All shut and open and function nicely.

@@gooddaymate1171 also the detents for the windscreen are nice. You can open the visor a crack and it stays there ...doesn't open or close at high speeds. Comfortable and quiet.

According to the size chart hjc said I'd use a medium but the medium was really tight so I went with a large.

Unfortunately, everyone's head shape is different. We try approximate fit the best we can.

They make the vents look big and wide open on the outside but they’re always just tiny little holes on the inside. someone should make an affordable helmet with excellent ventilation. It wouldn’t cost more to provide more ventilation. Just a bigger drill bit.

no drop down visor inside? ufff. i still have an hjc is17 form 2016 and the extra dark visor inside is a must!

Just got one for myself, but the size Large doesnt come with ECE, just DOT & Snell

Usually helmets will come with either ece or Snell but not both.

Absolutely outstanding detailed review! I enjoy your reviews because they are very informative, concise and quite easy to understand. The only thing that is missing, is that HJC doesn’t include chin curtains with their “budget” helmets and they have to be purchased separately, and I do recommend getting it! Why do the larger sizes not come with the Snell certification? Are they less safe?

Well, they have less padding to basically fit the bigger heads in 3x and up so it's harder to get it Snell certified

chin strap needs to be longer on each side otherwize d ring hard to grab one alway gets in side of helmet . my 1/2 bell is easiest to buckle .me and my wife have the same problem with hjc we do love the flip down visors . beyond that we like the helmets. loud music at end of video is really annoying

how to care for matte paint? Is it bad to be exposed to the hot sun every day?

HJC's matte finish is remarkably durable and hold up to the sun quite well. Helmets with bright colors on the other hand (especially florescent) can fade if left out in the sun regularly.

Hello. Is it interchangeable inner paddings. I mean my head is small in size but my chick is little bit chubby. So small size definitely squeezes my chick. Can I change cheek pad( small) into large size.? Thanks in advance.

Yes and yes, the small helmet will come with a 30mm cheek pads, and if you needed a little extra room the X-Large are 25mm and are interchangeable on that shell. Hope that helps!

Is this made for upright bikes or super sport? I just aquired a gsxr and have found my normal helmet isnt going to cut it because i cant see high enough when down in riding position

They do! They offer them in dark smoke and a few iridium colors as well, just looks for the HJC HJ-31 shield for the i10 and you should be good to go.

No, the i10 will only make the cheek pads made for the i10 specifically. What are you trying to accomplish with a pad swap?

@@SpeedAddictsTV My i10 cheek pads are really tight on my cheeks and i was wanting to get smaller cheek pads for a better fit and for comfortability. My helmet is a large 35mm cheek pads.

Hi Hans, The i10 is a few ounces heavier than the C70. This probably has to do with the fact that the i10 is built to pass snell testing although we don't know that for certain. It's worth noting the C70 does have a drop down sun shield and the i10 does not. Thanks for the question!

@@SpeedAddictsTV i have cs15 and c70 but planning to switch to i10 due to snell certification and based on your review. I think i10 has a better ventilation compare to the other two. I am just considering the weight. I just can not afford rpha11 for now.
