I just got that kit for my 370z 6MT sport pkg and pulled the trigger when the price dropped last week. I also put a set of G-loc GS-1 pads on all corners. I then flushed the system with Motul RBF 600 to finish the job. I had already replaced the OEM Rays forged 19" wheels with a set of forged monoblock magnesium wheels. This took off about 9 lbs from each wheel and made a noticeable improvement in handling, comfort and response. After I put on the Akebono two-piece rotors, I shaved an additional 10 lbs from each of the front wheels and 5 lbs from each of the rear wheels. The result was quite a dramatic improvement in the response, and comfort over bumps and road irregularities. Very little driveline shock is now transmitted through the suspension and into the chassis. The springs and shocks now control the wheel motion more easily. The car is very responsive doing abrupt lane changes. With the wheels, aluminum lug nuts and two-piece rotors, I have taken off about 80 lbs of unsprung rotational weight. My estimate is that that is roughly equivalent to having taken off about 160 lbs of static sprung weight. My seat of the pants feel on the improvement in the acceleration supports this. I also replaced my OEM anti-sway bars with Stiffer Hotchkis bars, as you did. The combination of lighter wheels, brake rotors and stiffer bars has made a significant improvement in the handling of an already good handling car. Next up, Z1 chassis braces that I have already bought and am going to install.

The clip at 1:25 sounds like it has a cvt. And wow that is a huge discount, they probably don't sell much at $1600. I think for most of us a 30 pound unsprung reduction isn't worth it, maybe if you go to track days or autocross events but not for a daily. Even though it could potentially help fuel economy, mine is 13.6 so it can't be saved.
@SpeedCultureStudios19 күн бұрын
It does sort of sound like a cvt but I think it was a combo of throttle input and also getting traction after spinning for 60 feet lol. Yeah you wouldn’t likely notice much performance out of the rotors in daily driving but if you do any spirited driving or carve canyons from time to time, they’ll definitely be helpful.

What do you think about a jb4 on a fully stock 2021 q50 luxe

That 450 hp package looks like a good deal, SCS and myself both went to Soho motorsports for a dyno tune but that was pretty expensive

Ona turbo car, you can pull some good power with just software so if you’re looking for just a little bit more grunt, it’s not bad.

No dont jb4 its just a boost controller and doesn’t dial in the entire engine it just overworks the already weak turbos

My question is what make you get rid of your Q50 the reason why I am asking is because I have a 2015 Q50 Sport I'm thinking to get me a SUV but I love my Q50S too much only 80,000 Mile

I sold because I like cars and don’t have room to keep every car I’ve ever owned so enjoy them for awhile and move on to something. I sold the Q and got a corvette. Sold the vette and got a truck. Bought another vette and now an SQ5. I’ll sell the vette soon and get something else. It’s a never ending cycle

@@SpeedCultureStudiossave up for a new Z or a newer vette honestly as a Nissan fan nothing is beating corvette for the price
