Released in April 1990, Super C added new, innovative ideas to the Contra series, like shooting aliens, shooting giant aliens, and shooting with five-way spread guns. Well, even if the game isn't very innovative, it is well known for being more difficult than Contra - there are more enemies on the screen at once, and the Konami code only gives you 10 lives instead of 30. At this past Awesome Games Done Quick, $1,025,000 was raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. It only took a week of continuous streaming, 18,000 donors, and many many runners to achieve. A big thanks to everyone responsible for these amazing numbers, what a humbling achievement. For comparison, last year's event raised just under $500,000.

Gotta love the DogBone!!! Its my fav and first controller as I was lucky to start out with the TopLoader when I was young. Is it against the rules though in speed running if you were to use a Max or even an advantage controller?
