with these old sppedfight videos I was fixing 1 a day and just started to upload videos, these were more to help young lads to fix there mopeds and not get done paying £300 at a garage after over 400 videos ive slowed down and hopefully got better as there are all worth a watch mark

Hiya mate ,I have a question ,I've just mot,d my sons Peugeot ludix ac 2006 and it's been fine all year as well ,but he was switching lights from high to low basically messing about ,anyway the scooter then cut out and from that point last week I can't get a spark ,in this last week I've bought new stator and Cdi and coil with lead and plug cap,I've tested them all on my speed fight because a few are the same ,I've gone through the complete wiring harness carefully taking insulation tape off and cannot find Any breaks and tested every wire on the scooter ,I've also changed over the ignition key switch just in case that was that although key switch is second hand so that could be faulty ,if there a way to cut or disconnect the kill wire that stops the scooter from sparking ,I know it goes to the Cdi and is colour white with black stripe which goes from key ignition switch to Cdi because that can be the only problem ,I don't want to buy a new ignition key switch in case it's not that ,new stator and Cdi coil and plug and cap including ht lead comes from scooter uk and ,is there anything else apart from helping me out over kill wire that's stopping peugeot ludix from sparking ,only thing I haven't tested on another scooter is secondhand ignition key switch the rest I've tested to make sure I am not going round in circles ,cheers mate

94f1senna is you scooter immob as it sounds like it is !! , you have done the basics but it shouldn't be anything to do with the ignition bud , if when you turn it on you horn or indicators work then it's fine and more like to be your cdi so that may need changing , your son playing with the lights may have nothing to do with it bud , I do have other videos that may help maybe check them out , please like share and subscribe , mark

thanks mate for replying back. the ludix doesn't or is not the one with the immobiliser .I still thought that could still get a faint spark even if the cdi is knackered. I will try the cdi on another scooter but I am sure the cdi is ok because Ive tried a.cdi off my speedfight2 because some of them are identical non immobiliser 5 pin cdi and both cdi,s work .I been told a common problem is the kill wire on the ignition which goes to cdi then grounds power to cdi so no spark . say that cdi could be faulty but not 2 lol..thanks anyway mate

Good luck then mate if the cdi from you ludix work on the speedfight then your right it must have something to do with he wiring and as in my wiring hell video that can be a right pain , mark

I thought I'd order a new one from eBay. scooter uk. £7.50 including postage so then for sure I will know because the cdi I tried comes off my other speedfight 2 and for sake of that small price I will know. because we both know that it only come from 3 things .I cut the white and black wire that goes to cdi which is the kill wire and no different. so new cdi it is mate .I will let you know Wednesday lol if it does the trick.

there are a lot of these cheap chines mopeds out there now and this is why the speedfight 1 and 2s that are not chines are still out there and getting good money for them however doesn't stop them breaking down pmsl thanks for watching bud and take care

Hello mark I have just bought a speedfight 2, was running fine now when I use the throttle if I increase it to quicky the throttle cuts out of if I am going as fast as the bike goes and pin the throttle back that little bit more the throttle cuts out also? Do you have any suggestions what this could be also my exhaust has came loose from the engine it's self am having trouble tightening it back on do u have any vidioes that could help me I'm new to scooters so I'm finding it difficult. Thanks

hi bud I have 70 videos on speedfights and cover everything but you may have to sit and watch a few a I stated with one thing and on the video would then move onto another as I was fixing it so best type in speedfight mark savage and sit back and watch them as they will help now your carb can be a few things and ive had this may times carb float ,check its filling up ok as at high speeds it often cant fill up once you get over 45 mpg as they are set for 30mph check all fuel lines that they have not gone hard and check vacuum and tank filter what jet size are you running and what air filter ? have you tuned like in my videos last serviced / carb clean and plug colour sort out this and see how you get on bud

Hi Mark, ive seen yerterday something on my Peugeot Speedfight 2 LC thats bugging me, underneath near the rear wheel theres a bit of tube hanging from the frame thats connected to the engine, when the engine is on air comes out from that tube. Do you know what it is for ? or if is suposed to be connected to something ? Tanks

hi ok you have a gas recirclelation valve pud! but don't think thats it, air ? is it running ok?, sounds like some sort of vacuum pipe best try and trace it back to where it comes fromcould be the oil pump maybe but without being there i cant think bud but if it run ok with no problems you know what they say - if it any broke don't fix it lol, mark

it was only on some sp2's and is to do with the 2t oil system. some may have changed the engine or used a different way, have a look at you 2t oil system now you will have a pipe coming from the tank trace where it goes .it may have a electric one which is under the left hand side lower bottom fairings , to end bud you bike will run fine as long as you have 2t oil going into your carb check you have a little pipe with 2t oil going into your carb then all is fine. mark

Really need some help de restricting my Peugeot v clic, I cut the wire in cdi removed spacer and plate in variator and still want to rest at 35mph restricting, can u help?

hi bud re connect the pink wire it doesn't work and messes up your cdi, you bike is restricted by the cdi so you would need to upgrade that and when you do thy tend not to last long, as other things you do will not make it go much faster but better pull away!! they are great little peds but that's all you will get so don't waste your money bud keep it or change your bike sorry to say . hope that clears thing up but more speed go to a 2t. please watch my other videos and like share and subscribe , mark

hey my Peugeot speeedfight 3 lc 50cc is giving me a weak spark and wont start the bike, its not the spark plug its giving a weak spark directly from the ht coil. do you have any idea what it could be?

could it be the stator pick up going if its giving off a weak spark?

+Alfie Newton hi this is one reason I hate the 3 lol ok I've worked on a few with weak spark 1 was the stator coil the other 2 where Cdi and the other was poor earth ! . See what u are getting out of your stator volt wise and check all power leads / earth , I also had some others that no matter what I did just wouldn't live and they drove me mad

+mark “marky bike” savage mines not the cdi just bought a new cdi because the person that had it before me put a crappy Chinese cdi in it, which led me to believe it was that but replaced that and still a weak spark...the bike had been running fine the other day then just died on me when i slowed down and hasn't started back up since...thanks mark ill have a look at the volts coming out of the stator!!

+Alex Harrison they are under £10 on e bay nothing cost's 94 pound on a speedfight lol, it is only the bit the connects onto the starter and pushes out, i'm sure I have a video on how it works , have a look mate but is it starts ok on the kick and it don't pee you off that much bud leave it !!

If you 17 upwards yes they are great peds 65 to 80 odd if played with , and it is part on the start system from the start to the out ring in the variator , hope that helps mate
