Are you sure MAF readings are proper after you just swap the intake without tuning the ECU? Every time I install CAI, Short Ram or any other intake different from stock airbox on Toyota engines there is always a problem with MAF readings, that's for sure, especially with those vacuum lines, valve and actuator manipulations

Nicely clamped and supported OEM tube is replaced with a slightly bigger tube with no support and now doesn't inlet cold air from the grill area. Looks like a complete waste of money to me.

1. It's supported by the metal bracket and the hard inlet elbow. 2. Cold air isn't important/air volume/velocity is. That's why turbo applications have intercoolers. 3. The MST unit have relatively identical gains when tested on the yaris vs the eventuri intake at 1/3 of the price.

Plus the oem intake opens from the bottom pulling hot air off of the radiator. Not the best

Have you checked to see if air intake temps are different before you’re declaring it junk? I doubt it.

I keep getting code P2C90 Is there a fix for this? I also disconnected the battery to see if it will relearn but it did not help. (P2C90 - Crankcase ventilation system hose "A" disconnected.)

I’m scared of voiding my warranty but I want a better intake… might go for the tom’s air filter and call it a day lol

According to my local Toyota dealership, there is no "voiding" the warranty. The service manager told me that the warranty is valid regardless of modifications, but if they are able to directly link a failure to parts that you installed the warranty won't cover repairs.

@@boiipauly the only thing he said to be careful with/avoid completely is tuning. If you get the car tuned and it runs poorly/causes damage, they apparently have no way of restoring the factory tune
