For twin screw boat handling I always told people it's kind of akin to operating a zero-turn mower once you learn pivot point and the controls. My twin straight inboard 32 was a breeze to handle with no bow thruster. I could dock that thing anywhere it would fit barring conditions. Ie wind, current. Your cinematography and storytelling are second to none Great video!

What a beautiful day to fly/glide on top of the water! The dry tortuga looks like a great apocalyptic hideout… Justice or not the camera view of the water color was amazing. It actually made the other colors in your boats show up even more. I haven’t noticed a color that added to its counterparts as well as this one did.

I love to watch traveling content and learning about the places each content maker goes to, Sailing SV Delos, Sailing Doodle, Curl Caz, Van boys and i can keep going and going. They are international travelers and tell a story but out of all of them, you guys are in my top 2 KZbin channels that I just love to watch. Sure the crazy fast speed boat is fun to watch skip across the water and your new catamaran is as slick and sexy as a boat can be. (Not to mention that fact that Sara is a bomb shell) but that's not what sold me on your channel. I love someone that can tell me a story filled with facts and entertainment. Yall get my attention and keep it every time. Keep up the amazing content. P.S. Don't be afraid to make the vids longer, most of us will still watch it.

Great video! Mike, I find wearing my hat forward keeps it from blowing off on my boat. If I turn it around, the bill lifts right up and off goes the hat. Do you find that too? Now, my boat tops out at a senior citizen 60 mph, so it only happens at slower speed! lol. And of course I’ve got a bow rider, so it’s not exactly built for high speed

@howe2live Thank you so very much for taking us with you on this journey today. I have always wanted to explore west of Key West without taking the tourist boats and planes. Question: How do you know if you need permission to dock your boat in the places that you tie up? I would love for you to share about the "rules of the road" when it comes to where you can go and where you cannot in your boat... All I know are the red and green markers at the entrance to some harbors, but always wondered what the rules are "once you're out there" and then when you arrive at places like the Dry Tortugas. BTW much respect for not marketing/pushing the whole subscribe button thing like so many YTers are doing. It's akin to a pastor telling you to raise your hands in church. It's all about the organic decision of the heart, and for that I much respect you for having that position. Thank you again for the time and effort you put into taking us on your journeys. Marc.
@Howe2Live5 ай бұрын
Wow, what a thoughtful comment. Thanks so so much. At the end of the day, there are so many rules in the Dry Tortugas you're bound to probably break one or two and not even know it. We went to the government parks website - www.nps.gov/drto/index.htm - and studied them for like days. In the end we just try to mind all the rules and be respectful. Have a great day and hope to see you out there sometime. M&S.
