You are able to eat using chopsticks. As a Japanese, I was glad to see you using chopsticks. I also own a boat with a Mercury Racing 500 engine in Japan.

The wife turning a wrench...AWESOME!!! :-) And then she spells out the still to dos. Yeah, banging the hull is useful. What was encouraged when we built a foam/fiberglass sandwich construction air frame was to take a quarter and tap around on any areas of concern It goes from a sharp click to more of a thunk if you hit one. The difference in sound is not REMOTELY subtle. We purposely laid up a small decontamination in a test piece to check it out. She is obviously full up half the team, you are lucky to have found her, and vice versa. Ain't it great when a plan comes together? "Like Sands Through the Hourglass"...LOL. Back in the day i sat though a few of those, two. Give and take, that's what it's about. Her response to your forehead was hilarious. Good calls, IMHO, on the storms and tracks, too. ALWAYS better safe than sorry when risks are unacceptable. You can't control nature, so not getting the initial record wasn't within your control, so congrats for the one you did get. A world record is a world record. So a radar and another attempt, or been there, done that?

You really should be wearing the proper vests and full face helmets. Those vests are a joke for the speeds ur traveling. I used to work for an engine builder and friends of his stuffed the nose at the world finals in Key West. They had open face helmets and ended up in the Hospital after smashing their faces on the wheel, dash, gauges. Not pretty. I ended up trailering their boat back to NJ

Great content.. but your statement about Dave's Blackhawk is incorrect.. FYI.. it's not the ONLY privately owned blackhawk in the world.. there are quite a few infact.. and have been for years now.. 12 years.. with over 5k built... it' was only a matter of time until the military units made their way into a surplus program and the FAA approved a type certificate and path to civilian ownership.. they are used for everything from Science and research, making movies, corporate luxury helis to private fire fighting and SAR use.. it's quite alot of bird and not common in general aviation that's for sure.. Dave's just happens to be the 1st that most people, who aren't involved in aviation, have heard of.. a quick google search will turn up a lot of resources with information about how to obtain one and the various examples of how the civilian owned blackhawks are currently being used for.. what a great ship..

I am a life long avid Sailor. I can honestly and openly state 'I despise 90% of all recreational power boat operation. So often I have felt extremely threatened in the middle of a blue bird day... by some yahoo operator that probably should not be operating a shopping cart in a Walmart parking lot !". Your channel and exploits are new to me. I am only half way through my first vid viewing and feel compelled to comment. I am so impressed with everything about you and your wife's project. Attention to detail, safety check, check and triple check etc. I know 2hat it is to do 30 - 40 miles an hr on the water in daylight. To do 80 - 90knts in pitch dark ? That is balls and ovaries to walls. I already have 'chicken skin' ! I am amazed at how relatable your high speed project is to me as a sailor. My whole body bristled up In goose bumps at the mention of every minute pre-dawn, seeming to be an eternity and the 'come on, come on man...' of waiting on that first bit of daylight. Kudos to you and your wife. You have a sense of adventure and streak of fortitude that is experienced by what ? One in 20,000 people ? OK enough 'hot air from me' I have to get back to your video (you're off Ocean City)..... ;)

Good channel, but a little too melodramatic sometimes. Playing on your audiences' emotions by always pretending that everything is a danger, seems a little unrealistic. I am sure that 99% of the GPS-guided journey was open-water and uneventful. This isn't climbing Mt. Everest. It's just a long boat ride with a ton of gasoline.
@Howe2Live
@Howe2Live 4 күн бұрын
Thank you for the comment but it does show that your offshore experience is limited. To say that traveling miles offshore at night for hours at 90mph isn't that dangerous is not being realistic. While this was not climbing MT. Everest... we did travel in rough seas between 80-110mph for over 21hrs straight, we both endured moderate to severe RHABDO from our kidneys being repeatedly beaten by the relentless shock and vibration. It took us over 2 weeks to recover physically. Thanks for watching and good luck with Mt Everest:) M&S

@@Howe2Live The Atlantic Ocean spans approximately 106 million square kilometers, making up about 21% of the Earth's surface. Given its vastness, the likelihood of any boat encountering debris is exceedingly low. With oceans covering 71% of the Earth's surface, the amount of floating debris is so sparse as to be nearly negligible, and with the size of your boat, you should be able to fly right over anything. Your reporting on rhabdomyolysis seems overly dramatic. This severe condition requires immediate emergency care to avoid kidney damage. It is not plausible to oscillate between "moderate and severe" within a 24-hour period. Either medical attention is needed, or it isn't. Using acronyms may impress some of your audience, but it doesn't sway me. Your video footage shows your boat gliding smoothly under power, contradicting claims of it being "relentlessly shocking." The ease with which you refuel while moving at high speed suggests you weren't too worried about falling overboard. Your two-week recovery might be more related to age than the severity of the ordeal. Don't let that dampen your sense of adventure. Regarding your comment about my "limited offshore experience," I have been the co-pilot of a jet turbine racing boat team in British Columbia for the past 11 years. We can travel up to 210 km/h in rough, heavy-currented, and debris/rock-strewn Fraser, Nechako, Skeena, Peace, Columbia, and Quesnel rivers. I am well versed in the true effects of "shocking" boat movements. I will not reveal who we are for privacy reasons, nor are we champions, but here is a good example of what we face, as seen through the eyes of one of my esteemed peers who possesses true tungsten carbide balls: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5yZhZyXqb-ZqZIsi=DRRfW0LAqM6RrFlv Good luck with your channel and any future "disasters" you might be inclined to report. Successful KZbinrs often gain followers by being authentic, even if that seems less dramatic. We shall all be waiting eagerly for you two wealthy folks to tell the rest of the world How2Live. Now, back to my Mt. Everest videos. 😉

What they fail to mention to the consumer is….. the tail is way out of control in inclement weather. Snow, sleet, etc. The traction from the rear wheels is terrible!!! Until they address that problem, there’s no way I’m spending a 100 grand on this vehicle. 😳 Don’t let this hype video fool you with all the backyard sliding! In bad weather, it tail wags something terrible if you’re trying to drive straight line.
