The amount of effort poured into this piece astounds me! I can't even sit down to make a 30 minute picture, nonetheless a 2 hour one! Very well done, can't wait 'till you get to Speedpaint 100!

Nadia Miszke no joke, I once sat through ten hours because of a drawing I made, i was very tired after I was done, but seeing how amazing it looked was worth it.

lol "thingieeeeeenot" XD but for real your anatomy skills are stunning! Even though this is kinda is a static pose you managed to put so much energy in it with the background and the expression. amazing artwork ♥

Thank you!! And the story behind the title is that I just previously did a quick random background practice, which I name smth like "thingie.12", and when saving the early sketch I just went with what came to mind but then realized that I might mistake it in the future,, plus being to lazy to rewrite it I simply added onto it. Other genius titles of my work include pieces such as: "ghrhghg-2" or "commmisisisison" and so on And to make static poses more dynamic, an advice I can give, is to work in as many diagonally oriented lines as you can: the hips are angled in one direction, the shoulders in the opposite direction, the head is tilted again. If there's a tail try to work in some contrast there as well. If you want to go further even, you can also twist the body: torso faces to the left, hips face to the right, as does the head, ever so slightly.

I think its interesting how different one drawing can be made by two completly different people and how it could reflect on their personalities or the such. Anyway great work I hope you had enough rest after you finished this. Thank you for reading this and have a good day

Woah! You're able to accomplish so much work in the amount of 2 hours! I honestly can't seem to get enough of your work, and hope you do enjoy it! My favorite part of this peice would have to be the lineart and expression, but your backround was amazingly well done, and I absolutely love the art as whole!! Hopefully you have a good day, I do wish you one!

since half of his body is fairly humanoid how and where did you learn anatomy ? ive struggled with it for a while and cant grasp certain things

You can learn it by looking at pictures of people online and repeatedly draw it. That's how I'm learning it.

I really love the amount of detail you put in to perfecting this characters unique muscle tone! It looks to realistic. Tiny critique however: You dont have to but i recommend upping your video speed just a tad more. So that your lines get set in quicker. c:

HOLY SHIT THAT ANATOMY great and amazing piece, except that the music felt really...unfitting for this character. they're supposed to be like epic and stuff, at least that's what i think. chimes is a little bit of a weird instrument for them. i ended up listening to some hollow knight boss fight ost because i had that tab open, lol.

What brushes do you use?
@runalisunstone16467 жыл бұрын
Was wondering what kinds of drawings you did? I know its a stupid question but i've seen that so far you do creepy pictures. I love them but maybe do something a bit out of your comfort zone? like kind of a twist? instead of making it all dark and creepy; put some music that has a sort of... happy tune but dark lyrics and have the back ground and character more bright and cheerful colors with gore or creepy features in? lol just a suggestion.
@Remarin7 жыл бұрын
That would certainly be some nice stuff to do, but first I'd have to be sure that I could find those kind of songs among the copyright free ones ;x but it would be easier to just take the best fitting, best sounding songs, but they usually make my videos un-monetizable (I can't earn extra cash from the ads on those videos) But the closest thing to the idea of "bright setting + disturbing stuff" would be this piece: remarin.deviantart.com/art/summer-silence-643413052 With the music that partly inspired it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/in-mg5-FrJaspqs that would probably fit as well to the idea
@runalisunstone16467 жыл бұрын
oh okay! maybe if I can find some songs like that or someone who makes songs I can put some links in this comment section! it'd be my pleasure to help you out
What is that creature? I was almost positive it was a Grem, but it doesn't have bird feet.

how did you learned all that anatomy? xd
@Remarin6 жыл бұрын
Bit by bit over a long period of time! (I'm too lazy to do focused studying of anatomy, so I'm just absorbing tidbits of information here and there) Whenever you feel like your brain is ready to do some learning, I recommend checking out the anatomy drawing lessons by Proko! kzbin.info/door/lM2LuQ1q5WEc23462tQzBg They are very detailed, so I also recommend just doing your best at absorbing the most general shapes and vague placement at first. No need to learn the name of bones and muscles :'0 Once you get familiar with drawing the specific piece anatomy you can then revisit the same video sometime later and see if there are some details you can add/correct on your knowledge. Rinse-and-repeat!

wow thanks a lot! I really love your art and your videos and they always surprise me and I aprecciate the effort you put on them, so thanks again!

Is there a way we can email you with a design? Also, if you just get a word description and ‘attempt’ at the one character can you improve and improvise? (In my current book two characters have set designs that have pictures and survive all rewrites but designing what The Grace’s true form looks like in person has been tricky; I got the vitiligo point down that looks both interesting and freaky enough to have scared early man, but xe just ended up with a monstrous bad hair day which is a little too distracting.)

Isn't Erebos the name of a Book ?
@Remarin6 жыл бұрын
Dunno man, googling "erebos book" would probably answer the question, but since I'm only the one who was commissioned to draw this character, I don't know where the name originated from. You'd have to ask the one who created this guy ;0
