Speedrunning Minecraft Inside a Minecraft Computer

computational redstone engineer here! i just wanted to point out this information (since he didn't clarify it) that this video might be a result of using either a mod or command blocks because as far as i know there are no minecraft processor that can process an entire full minecraft game in it. so the redstone that are shown are for aesthetic purposes only as that much redstone clearly won't be able to produce such computational output to run an entire detailed and colored minecraft. also colored screen are completely impossible in minecraft via redstones alone. why is this video not possible without any external mods or command blocks: a normal redatone tickrate in minecraft is 10Hz (10 times a second), while real life computer often uses a clockrate above 2Giga-Hz (2 billion a second). to have a laggy 1 fps gameplay, you still even need at least 1gb ram with a weak cpu (above 1GHz) and a weak gpu. and not to mention cpu irl usually are multi-threaded (meaning that they split the work between multiple arithmetic processor (works by calculating number really fast) while redstone computers often only used a single threaded system. plus the fact with having half a GB of ram would have cost a lot of space. i had worked with 256 bytes (not gb, mb, or even kb) and it require at least 4x8 chunks (...and 40 block tall) to fit it in. even with an accelerated redstone tickrate (usually done in high performance servers), it won't still be possible as example back then someone by the name sammyuri made an actual redstone computer running a small game of minecraft consisting of 8x8 blocks of world and he confirmed himself that with his newest version of his redstone cpu it'll theoretically took more than a single irl day to render a single frame (he had to use a MCHPRS to speed it up to 20000x and still have 0.1 fps in the result.) also colored screen are completely impossible in minecraft via redstones alone. TL/DR: this is not an actual redstone cpu in action. this was a result in using mods/command blocks.

This is fake. He's probably using a mod to create this monitor and run minecraft, as real minecraft computers don't have nearly enough ram or processing power to run it. Not to mention that the absolute best minecraft monitor has a total of 8 COLORS, the refresh rate is like 1 frame per 5 minutes, and that computer (by legomasta99) has a total of 0.9ish hz clock, and 32 ish BYTES of ram.
