Speedrunning The ENTIRE Career Of Vaush

If I had a nickel everytime I've seen Vaush debate an incel created by the darkest depths of the internet through being chronically online who can barely spew out a half-coherent sentence during an entire 1 hour conversation I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't much but it's weird that it happened twice
RULES OF THIS SPEEDRUN:(if you want me to add or subtract some stuff from this list in the possible future then tell your suggestions in the comment section!)
1. No speed ups on clips with sound
2. You HAVE to be descriptive enough in key moments, so that the viewer will fully understand the severity of these situations/breaking points
3. Entertainment is still the top priority - it has to at least TRY being fun to watch(giving some time away to include jokes, mentioning something loosely related to what's happening on the screen, comment someone's behaviour etc.,)
4. Have to provide a very strong amount of evidence, receits/allegations(if they changed someones career)
5. Doesn't need to be chronological, but needs some structure - like time frames(example: "last 5 years")
6. Primary focus on KZbin activities, not things outside of it. If something indirectly leads to a big shift in youtube channels, then that's something to talk about(basically: don't talk much about the person, talk about the youtube persona and everything that created it)
7. Have fun!(Yes, it's a rule, if you don't, you're legally restricted from ever participating in the "career history recap" speedrun)

Often times I have some kind of inside joke/s regarding my videos, I'll let you in on one of them here cause I think there's 0.01% chance someone asks me that question: Vaush has a 3rd youtube channel that I didn't mention, it's a gaming channel, and the reason I didn't include it is because "not even the team of that channel itself remembers it exists" - last posted ~9 months ago with the last community tab post asking fans what they'd want to see out of it ~2 months after the last published video, which is kinda hilarious

0:47 I explicitly do not subscribe to channels that make a point of telling me what their sub to view ratio is. If you actually make good content, people will sub, if you make throw away content, people will not sub, and let's not forget that subs don't matter because the algorithm only recommends what's relevant. Not what you are subscribed to.

That's fair! I share all kinds of statistics with viewers here on the channel since you're all a part of it, I saw that one before recording and it was a great opportunity to make a joke out of it so that's what I did - you'd be surprised how much changes when you mention subscriptions in any way(I do it either in very short skits or with a joke like here). Also, I wouldn't say the amount of subscriptions doesn't matter at all, maybe algorithm wise it technically doesn't, but even then the notifications do help with that as well, but obviously it's not a #1 factor, true that. Outside of the algorithm - it's just great to have a community formed, from a human perspective, not for any "real" benefits. I appreciate you watching and hope you enjoyed the video either way, no need to subscribe of course and I respect your opinion&your "code"(/rule), entertainment is always my number one priority!

Also I'm not sure if you called my content specifically "a throw away content" or if you were just talking in general, because as much as you 100% can say it's bad and there's nothing wrong with that, it's an opinion, I don't think the videos I make fit the "throw away content" definition really well - all of them take double digit hours to make, 90% of the time excluding research which - in this case for example - took at least 20 hours(that's lowballing). Time and effort doesn't make a video good necessarily, but the phrase you used isn't about "bad content", it's used to talk about "low effort content" in short

Also some clarification, because some people may ask where I stand when it comes to the first part of this video - if you're not interested then don't click the "see more" button, you've been W A R N E D Let it be known that this video would never exist if it weren't for him making a whole ass campaign defending you-know-what for years and "those" allegations. I personally don't like "debate" channels, because I feel like they just try to win arguments instead of having a conversation where both sides would actually listen to one another(maybe you think it's ironic, but I do very much welcome other perspectives!), it just creates that vibe of "let me scream over you" and watching Vaush for hours in order to make this video has been extremely exhausting, soo I'm done with these kinds of political "Ben Shapiro style" type debaters for the time being(if you are one - just don't do anything absolutely out of pocket and crazy and we good, I don't want to talk about you no more). I have nothing against people sharing their own opinions, even when they disagree with the people of similliar ideologies and I don't think that was a big time problem personally, but it's part of his career and just because I don't have problems with some things doesn't mean others won't call him a "hypocrite" or a "grifter". The only strictly political thing that got me disturbed and mad was someone with a big platform diminishing the Afghanian victims saying(a direct quote) "The American occupation was relatively small" - which first off not true, second off - tell that to the families of which relatives did not survive that "small occupation". Why didnt' I decide to just talk about the allegations I personally had an issue with then? Because I saw Vaush as a great example of a wolf in sheep's clothing - someone charismatic enough to gain following through sharing his own beliefs, and as I said at the end of the video, just because someone alligns with your own ideology pretty well doesn't mean they're not horrible people nonetheless, but it's much harder to see them in that way when we think most of their logic and world view in general is sensible to us PS: I know very well of his mental health situation, I didn't say anything because that's part of his private life, and if you think it excuses "this" kind of behaviour(he himself did use it couple of times to shield himself a bit, he also said people with mental issues should have gun restrictions put on them while at the same time wanting to own guns himself, so he clearly uses that argument only if it fits his idea of own "well being" I guess) you've witnessed in this video then, and sorry for such a strong expression, you disgust me - that is all

I think I kinda understand why you said that - the toughest part was that his career was just all the same ever since he basically started(the only difference being the first couple of months which I talked about) - I'd have to mention every other debate he had to contextualize everything and that doesn't sound like a speedrun at all haha(3k+ videos...)
