So here is what i found out 4 years after this comment: Lapierre is a Kings Crew member which would join the player later, he drives a Lamborghini Murcielago (his vinyl can be found at the game, BOSS_KINGS_WINGMAN, vinyl for the Murcielago, as well as the Boss one).

I actually decided to do the painful thing called checking if the crew members have changed. since we can't see the members in the game files, i just went into a lot of races over and over again and i wrote down names. and it seems like they're all exactly the same. atleast that's out of the question now. what i wonder is, since lapierre is a cut crew member, does this mean there was possibly a different major crew in the early beta? like let's say instead of bushido it was scorpios and lapierre was part of it, but then it was changed later. if that's the case, then no wonder his crew member code is still in the game

Dude they were changed to "Scorpios" in the final game (notice the missing 'n') with the purplish scorpion for the crew logo, and yeah you can race them at some point. "Scorpions" was probably the first draft for this crew with the smaller red scorpion logo which was scrapped. There's a difference.

The Scorpions where the beta version of the Scorpios fun fact before Bushido was made Kenji was in fact the leader of Scorpions/Scorpios and his Stacked Deck Evo was based on a later version of his Scorpions/Scorpios Evo so I believe at one point Ea wanted to make the Scorpios/Scorpions a major crew instead of a minor Crew. Don’t believe me play one of the demos of Carbon and pick Muscle I believe when you own all of the areas in the Beta map and in the boss race you unlock in the canyon duel what I believe is lookout point like Kenji in the final game you race an Evo IX which is driven by Kenji.

Seems redundant to have a beta crew named Fortuna, merging with a crew named Kings, when there's already a crew ruling the Fortuna district, that's already called The Fortuna Kings.

I now see "Lapierre" being part of the kings.. i might be saying whats obvious to most rn but wasnt there also a cut crewmember with no info called "LaPierre"? We already knew Kings were suposed to be a bigger crew but i never thought theyd be big enough for the player to earn a crewmember from? Now that im thibking about it theres also a crew vynil in the files that only fits on one of the lamborghinis in the game propperly but i dont remember if that vynil was a Kings vynil or not..

+Speedyheart yeah you're probably right but what I meant was that I noticed a grey Mercedes SLR McLaren with the Le Samurai vinyl on it which was kinda strange, and also the exact same Lamborghini Gallardo, Aston Martin DB9 and the Dodge Challenger Concept from the intro. What I can also tell you was that the user also tried to change the vinyls but they were labelled "DEFAULT STRING" as if they were meant to be in the game. You should check it out though, see if it means something.
