Early silver coins with a hole were used to avoid a spell or curse by a witch . These coins were either worn on a string around the neck or sown to clothing . Nailed to barns and placed in churns to protect the milk . I have dug 76 such coins in one large Civil War camp in Kentucky .

Cleaning Rules are a Scam if a coin is circulated, well if a coin gets cleaned that is what happens when it gets circulated enough. If a coin is uncirculated it has no reason to be dirty and therefore does not need to be cleaned.

@31:55 King Cotton was a very popular term in the south; there was a King Cotton Hotel in Memphis and, I believe, there is still a King Cotton Basketball Tournament. Cotton agriculture ran into issues because it eventually depleted important nutrients from the soil, especiall nitrogen. A former slave, George Washington Carver found that legumes (peas, beans and peanuts) replenished the soil. He was referred to as The Peanut Man since he promoted that high protein crop to replenish the land, especially for small farmers. A great man. Blessings!

In 1957 you could buy a gallon of gas for three (3) 90% silver dimes (30 cents per gallon) the coin of the realm back then (along with 90% silver quarters & half dollars). The U.S. mint stopped minting 90% silver coins in 1965. It now costs 36 contemporary non-silver dimes for the average $3.61 priced gallon of gas in the U.S. However, it only costs two (2) pre 1965 90% silver dimes valued at $1.80 each (as of 4/18/23) for the same gallon of gas. Consider transferring some of your savings from dollars to silver to preserve purchasing power over time. You can purchase pre 1965 silver coins OR silver bullion OR silver bars. A lot of folks are buying silver now, while accessible before the dollar's purchasing power is ZERO.
@rileymanderscheid9805 Жыл бұрын

Like # 9 At my Walmart I bought six cans of Campbell’s chicken noodle soup $1.48 for each can total of $8.88. At my Publix they are selling each for $1.99 which is a total of $11.94. The difference is $3.06 which I saved. I bought three Walking Liberty halves at my local coin store for a total of $36. In reality I only spent $32.94 for the Walking Liberty haves because of the savings of the soup. Now, that’s smart dollar cost averaging. #S.D.C.A.

The pieces of 8 was the Spanish pillar dollar silver coin, it was the first silver coin to be used in the new world, because the British crown made it illegal to bring silver or gold to the new world, and only allowed copper coins either by self minted or imported, so silver only came in from foreign trade; mostly from Spain, thats why our money is called the dollar, since we were mostly influenced and got used to using the Spanish silver. Massachusetts was the first state to mint its own coin, with permission from the crown and was only limited to half pennies.

I loved this channel but I heard something and need to check it out...I noticed that China had been purchasing alot of gold for a long time. From 2017 - 2021, China had accumulated approx 4,387.80 tonnes and Russia must have been also. My opinion is that this down turn in the US standings in the financial market was happening well before this administration. 😟🤔😶😵💫
