Nice! I’ve been porting for 30 years and I do burr finish just like you. It truly is an art!

Thanks for sharing this kind of stuff! I haven't ported a head yet but thanks to helpful videos like this I have a better understanding of how it's done. Thanks again 🤘

Thats a heavy cut burr. I use a fine tooth Hi Helix burr. I love the finish it puts down. The problem is finding someone who can make the right.

In what cases do you use a Burr finish? And when not to? And are there some places do you want more of a smooth or polished finish? Thanks for the video.

When cutter is a little bent, or die grinder is'nt running true.... it gives rougher finish...from my experience in Porting...

So I can get a better understanding what does a burr finish do compared to let’s say a smoother finish?
@SpeierRacingHeads10 ай бұрын
creating more boundary layer and help keeping the fuel off the surface.

How do you control such a long tool ? ( what she said) lol

You defiantly don't want it to bounce. Kill your hands and not a uniform pattern.
