Air Marshall what Chanel would you recommend for safe on a dx6, I have no problem on the dx 8 but the dx6 drives me nuts

Hi Dave, without you I am sure many of us would be scratching our heads! I have followed your instructions on setting up Panic on the ix12 and I have selected the 'I' button for Panic and selected Panic in all modes. Mode 1 No AS3X + Panic Mode 2 AS3X + Panic Mode 3 Safe + AS3X + Panic. Panic works in all Modes apart from Mode 3 (with safe) Maybe panic isn't needed with safe? I think i have got a bit confused!

In forward programing adjusting the SAFE gain controls on how much the surface will move also. It will not correct the plane just how much throw u will have, then the AS3X will control the surfaces to Matain smooth flight correct ?

Greetings, My V900 when hand launching rolls to the left crashing-- before I can get to the aileron and elevator with SAFE select engaged. Launching with left hand holding the Tx NX8 at 50% throttle and the V900 launched slight up in my right stronger arm. Can I increase the strength of the SAFE on the AR631 Rx so the V900 remains in strong auto-level: until I can gain control of the aileron elevator stick?

Hey man I'm having problems with my NX6 transmitter and my ar637t safe reciever in my 72 inch wing and getting my 3 safe flight modes working properly... do you have any tips or way to help man... it's not working properly... I'm getting a "CONNECTION FAIL" message and a non responsive issue... The self leveling is just not workin... if you have any ideas, PLEASE help...

Thanks Air Marshall for another helpful video in the series. I have an iX20 and have followed your excellent video in setting up the PANIC mode in all 3 Flight Modes of the AR637T. Is there a way of testing this on the ground? I have held the model upside down and pressed the 'I' button assigned to PANIC (AUX 2) but there are no movement of any control surfaces on the plane. The monitor screen indicates that the 'I' button is working between 100 and -100 (depressed). It seems there is no link between command and response.

You need to enable Panic in all modes. I believe this is done in F Mode Setup

I've been through the set up many times and still I cannot get Panic to work! Everything else seems okay on testing on the ground. I have changed channels to see of that makes a difference but no luck. I was wondering if there would be a conflict with the I button being used as a Range Check as well as Panic? I've tried re binding and no difference so next is to start again with first time set up?? I've been through all your videos and double checked everything. Frustrated!

Hello Air Marshall, just to let you know that I have solved this problem by restoring the AR637T to factory settings and starting the set up of AS3X and SAFE again. Thanks again for all your helpful videos.

maybe I misunderstood , but I didn't see how to assign the Panic function to any given button or switch on the controller???

At 1:24 Where I talk about setting up the Panic/SAFE channel, that’s how you set up the channel the Panic button is going to respond on. So you set it up in Forward Programming as shown here, then in Channel Assign you assign which button/switch you want to control Panic on the channel you selected. In this case I selected Aux 4, so in Channel Assign I would assign the I button to Aux 4.

Hi Roger , I think I found how to assign a switch to the “panic mode “ switch . I have a DX 6 .... From the main screen scroll to System Setup, Channel Assign , You will see a menu Rx Port Assignments (Scroll to) “Next” . The menu “ Channel Input Config” is displayed. The switch / button can be assigned in this menu . I used the 5: Gear and used changed to switch C . Hope this helps ? 🤞

@@dlm5536 I did that, and it still didn't work. I have a DX6. When setting up Panic it give me the option for AUX 1. AUX is on Switch D, so I moved it to the Bind button I. And it won't work. Also how did you set up the AS3X gain with the DX6?
