Man you’re going all in on this civic. That’s what’s up. They’re so new it’s hard to find a lot of mods for them yet. Gonna wait around for a year or so before I do any mechanical mods to my new Si. The Si shifter is much better that the other ones. Personally, I would ot tought the Si exhaust unless it was a premade Borla or Flowmaster system. The ones they had fir the 10th Generation Tyoe R was realky nice, but expensive. But worth it.

@@717PROJECT If you can get the rear lower valance from the Si with the dual exhaust ports, that would be perfect. Borla has nice exhaust tips to use, but the whole system would be better. But they are pricey.

@jjacob25101 yea actually the shifter and rev match system in the new Si are sourced from the Type-R! The gearbox is very tight with nice short throws. Picked it up the day after Christmas. Absolutely in love with it. Been a great daily so far.

@@putoutmyfirewithgasoline1877 I know, the one in the Sport/Sport Touring Hatchback is okay, but if I got a manual, I would just get the Si. But the Hatchback is more suited or me. Unless I can get the Si as a second car. Ideally, the shoukd have made the Manual Sport Touring Hatchback with all the Si running gear, and put the detuned Type R 2.0L Turbo engine in the Si.

That's so cool, and would be nice to have to quiet it down at home at night, but I don't like it going any lower, and having to cut out the plastic underbody cover. I would look into wiring it to the fusebox if there is an auxiliary accessory port to do that, maybe with an underhood switch if you have to shut off the power for that. I might just go with the muffler delete, and maybe a cold air intake made specifically for this car. Either way, there's a longtime exhaust shop near my home around where I always go, right up the street from where I saw the BBP Sport Hatchback this morning. They are probably the best exhaust shop here, and the most well known, just like the window tint shop.

Once they start coming out with aftermarket exhaust I'll be switching out. Hopefully a good duel one! That way I can lower it.

@@717PROJECT Yeah, also to add to my IG comment, KYB makes good shocks, cheaper than Bilstein, and Eibach makes the good lowering springs at to levels. I would go with the higher one, if at all, but don't plan on lowering mine.

Hey there, I've got a 2022 Civic Sport in Ralley Red. This exhaust is pretty sweet! I see on their website though that it's not recommended for heavy rain use or really cold weather. Would you just not open it up at all during those times?

I'd assume that's because of the wire most likely. Seemed pretty protected. If anything, just don't use it while it's raining. Haven't had an issue yet and it's rained most of the week and been pretty cold also. Time will be the tell. Appreciate the comment 🙏 Thank you!

I know if I get the muffler delete, it won't be excessively loud, but it will be noticeably hopped up, especially at WOT. But maybe even more with the K Tuner mod. I believe the Sport is about as fast as my 1984 Buick GN was, which was fast back then, about 0 to 60 in 8 seconds. Likewise my non turbo 2000 Chevy Impala LS with the N/A 3800 3.8L with the same 200 HP but less torque, but easyvto burn rubber off the libe, especially on wet pavement. I believe a stock Civic Touring or Sport Touring 1.5L turbo goes 0 to 60 in about 6 1/2 to 7 seconds. So I wonder how fast a Sport N/A 2.0L with the intake, muffler deletecor performance exhaust and the K Tuner would go. My 2096vImpala SS with Flowmasters went 0 to 60 in about 5 1/2 seconds, but that was with a 5.3L V8. My GN snd Impals LS had a 3.8L V6, and to be as fast with a N/A 2.0L stock is decent for a high volume everyday driver for the masses.

I have the 2 inch. The factory exhaust is just a tad bit smaller than that. Check your state exhaust laws, I have to remove mine cause it is now illegal in Pa! In fact, PA just came out with a new law on exhausts this week! No manipulation of it what so ever or you can get fined! Ridiculous!!!

Unfortunately, ALVYS TEK I don't have any tint. Legal in Pa is 70% and they come factory 80% so there really is no need. I've been pulled over so many times in previous cars that I'm tired of paying fines. They have been cracking down on tint hard the last couple months in Central Pa. It SUCKS!! Nope! Only thing I recommend is that if your state has inspection laws to check those first to make sure it's not illegal in your state. It is now illegal in Pa and I have to remove it 😑 pr need to find a shop that will pass it.

Keep the phone/camera INSIDE the car while wanting to hear driving exhaust clips. Roll the windows down and keep the phone inside. I promise you can hear it better than trying to listen through a ton of wind noise.

Very true! Unfortunately, I wasn't the camera man in this part of the video. There are better clips in some of my later videos. Appreciate you looking out. FYI, I use a Sony ZV-1 camera.

I test drove one of these today and I got to say, these cars handle so well but wish it had a little more power. 250HP I think would have been a sweet spot with a six speed. On my test drive, once I got it above 40, I found myself reaching for the paddleshifters to downshift but there were any.

@@dylanw890 250 would definitely be much better. I think with a tune and some other parts it can hit that pretty easily. Was it automatic? Didn't have paddles? Interesting!

@@717PROJECT Yes, it was an automatic. I have an 08' Saturn Aura V6 and I got use to driving it in manual with the paddle shifters so when the civic got sluggish around 40 I wanted to downshift and I couldn't becuase it is a CVT. If I were to get one, I would definitely get the manual to have more control over the car.

Yea, lowered won't work. Once they come out with a duel exhaust for the Sport I'll be getting that. Then I can lower it.
