It doesn't matter that this particular capercaillie is from Sweden, they are the most Scottish bird on the planet.

It’s also the Provincial Bird of Central Finland 🥰 (capercaillie = tjäder = metso in Finnish). Last year there was one hanging around a village school next to the town I live in, in spring it started to attack people and schoolkids so the police caught it and put it in the back of a police van and drove it 30 kms off to a nature reserve (Finnish police are kind of used to gigs like this 😁)A week later visitors to the park started complaining about getting attacked by a metso - it was the same bird 🤣🤣
