Levels and EQing. If there’s too many sounds in the same frequency range you should probably eq that chunk out from a track that doesn’t need to be there. Also probably shouldn’t play the same octave range for more than like two instruments at a time. I’m not sure if that’s like pro advice but that’s what I found worked for me. The rest you can kinda play by ear. Higher frequencies can seem a lot louder than they actually are. Like a snare at the same level as a bass note will seem a lot louder than the bass
