The new music market makes me cry, because there is so much incredible talent out there, like this guy, who up until this point i'd never heard of, because i don't have the time for Spotify, because i'm older, and life and stuff. I preferred the world when we could all share and rejoice in good music and talent. Man you are splendid on those keys, the exact sounds i want to hear. Wonderful. And what piano sample library is that ? That's a classic sound

@@dffgffffffdddddddddd they’re saying that there is so much talent that is hidden in the shadows of the over saturated music market of modern day streaming services.
@bontempo12713 жыл бұрын
@@oWavy yes, thank you. That, and i realise now the beauty of sharing the experience of music amongst people+culture as a whole. Music enchances life. It fits in like good food and wine. It use to be that music was released to the mainstream, and it was like a soundtrack of the times that is experienced by everyone simultaneously. Now its all divided up, people and their individual playlists. What we need is both, a shared experience, and a choice. The problem, is always the big industry labels, who turn music into business for profit. They turn music to shit. And it doesnt matter if its like Spotify or the old school chart method, their wealth/power will eventually get their hands on the teen market and turn out a music formula that is comparable to McDonalds. Its shit. Bad for you. But terribly easy and addictive. 2005-2010, was a great period because we broke out of the Hip POP and boy band formula, and independant styles, from Indie to Electro, made it onto the mainstream platform. And better yet, the music was constructed by the artists, who actually knew how to play instruments and make music. That period went on to influence everything that followed, and still does. Unfortunately, when people who have no connection to the music, just try to copy to sell records, you end up again with trash. Then the industry labels clock a formula that can steal and ride on this new wave with their own pop plastic version. And they have been in charge ever since.

I don’t have theory training either. Literally the way you get good and jam random keys til something sounds good. It has to be a feel thing.
