Too beautiful to choose between. I usually do CAS cards but love seeing other card makers branching out. Way to go!

Personally I like the one with less better. It feels like the diecut is actually featured or highlighted more! Also, those gorgeous papers show better on the one with less; and I'm sure it takes less time to make. Thanks so very much for sharing your beautiful creations, Karrah

That is an amazingly gorgeous card. I love spellbinders dies too and after watching a few of your Christmas videos, I have developed a great love for gold mirrored cardstock. It just makes everything look so much better.

Wow, beautiful cards. I love how feminine they are too. I lean more toward the one with less layers because the paper is so pretty 😊

Super beautiful cards! Love them both but would actually say the one with less layers is better but still amazing too! Now I have to find these dies and get them. They are so pretty. I love your choice of patterned paper. I'm not a huge floral person but I LOVE that paper. You are so talented. The supplies were all great by themselves but how you put everything together just took it to another level. Thanks for sharing your super creative talents with us!

Love both cards. They're just beautiful and elegant and a little shabby chic. I think I like the card with fewer layers better only because I love that paper so much and I feel like it really stands out more. The card with more layers is beautiful but I think the paper gets a little lost but it looks like you also used a lighter colored pattern? Either way love them both. Tfs-Bettina

It is not the layers that make it seem to much for me. They seem to belong. I think I would try leaving of the stitching and floss. You just don't know what will look the best till you try them all and compare. You have a excellent presentation. Love your art. Thanks so much for sharing.

They are gorgeous and I want to make them both. Again I'm a newbie, but I was wondering EXACTLY how you did the stitching? I'm going to your page to see if you have a video about that...I love love love that first card.Thank you..
@Yana.Smakula8 жыл бұрын
thank you, Sheryl! I don't think I have a video focusing just on stitching, but it is easy to do. I am using a sewing machine (nothing fancy, just a basic machine). You will need to play around with the settings a bit to get the feel of how it does stitching on paper. I don't like adding stitching to thin paper, like patterned paper, as stitching just never looks good there, but adding a layer of cardstock under patterned paper does help a great deal.

What thread do you use for your sewing stitches they are so elegant and i love both cards...
@Yana.Smakula9 жыл бұрын
Bebs 06 I'm using a simple basic thread. May I suggest you play around with the settings on your sewing machine? Sometimes, to make the stitching look nicer I back a piece of patterned paper with a piece or cardstock, I have found that to be very useful. Thanks!
@histerp518 жыл бұрын
Thank YOU Zroby....Not sure how I should address you..But again you are great. I was wondering if I could use my sewing machine I see a lot of girls with those little sewing machines, but I have spent Sooo much on stamping stuff that I better not do that...So this is great info. I would guess at looking you love Spellbinders? I am going to try them ...Hugs

I'm Yana :) my channel has a weird name as I started it in a different language first. But to answer your question - yes, I love both Clean & Simple stamping and Spellbinders dies :) so there's a mix of projects here, a bit of this, a bit of that. You can sign up for Spellbinders Die of The Month club if you want to start slow, I think its only $12.99 or so.
