In this episode, prompted by her sister's panicked final words, a woman learns of a drug developed by a mysterious doctor, a prescription that can literally scare a person to death.

CBS Radio MYSTERY THEATRE is a radio drama series created and directed by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982. Later in the early 2000s the show was repeated by the NPR satellite feed.
The format was similar to that of classic old time radio shows like The Mysterious Traveler and The Whistler, in that the episodes were introduced by host E. G. Marshall who provided pithy wisdom and commentary throughout. Unlike the hosts of those earlier programs, Marshall is fully mortal, merely someone whose heightened insight and erudition plunge the listener into the world of the macabre.
CBS Radio MYSTERY THEATRE was broadcast each weeknight, at first with a new program each night. Later in the run, three or four episodes were new originals each week, and the remainder repeats. There were 1,399 original episodes.

Hearing this story about what the effects of fear can be, I remember the old Vincent Price movie "The Tingler",if you haven't seen it, ya gotta! BTW, there's never been a genuine case of anyone having a flashback trip later on on any kind of acid, LSD, or anything! That was propaganda. Just some FYI.

I made comments on short clips during a break and they ended up here instead, which doesn't make any sense. How can I be watching short clips, clicking on them to comment, and the comments end up here? I deleted them, but I am going to see if they were left on the actual videos I was trying to. I've never had anything like that happen before, and don't see how. I have been active on KZbin, and spend most all my time on YT, I'm disabled and have to occupy myself. Weird! Well I checked those short videos and my comments are not on them. WOW, how?
