Love my DD SS3 pro fogs as well! Excellent choice. FYI those fogs are aimed way too high though. Looks like they are the same height as the headlights. Should be aimed about half way between the low beams cutoff and the ground when about 25 feet away for them to be street legal. Otherwise they are just blinding oncoming traffic in day-to-day driving.
@whatfreedom74 жыл бұрын
Yeah they do look too high. It would be blinding to other drivers.

I just installed mine and they don’t feel legal when I’m driving with them at night. How do u angle them?
@JamesHouser-p5r Жыл бұрын
@@CementgraytacomaPros are probably not legal. For dogs I kept it at "stage 1" while everything else will be off-road.

Have the sports performed well in the cold? I'm on the west coast (Van). You are in Alberta. Did the DD SS3 sports generate enough heat to stay clear of snow & Ice in an Alberta winter? the Pro's generate much more heat. Would you have gotten the pro's for the snow & ice melting heat instead of the sports?
@SpencerHogg3 жыл бұрын
They generated plenty of heat, worked no problem in -30*C!
@KayBertoss3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Spencer. I have a pair of Sports on order for my 2020 TRD Sport from your link. Not getting clogged with snow was one of my only concerns. They not only look fantastic on your truck but are very practical. Perform X2 better than OEM fogs from my research. A quality product made in the USA too!

Great video. What are the plans for wheels / tires / suspension?

So you "adust it" before you put it in without even knowing whether the adjustment is adequate. No wonder people have these shining in the trees, there needs to be an easy screw adjustment like the factory fogs that you adjust AFTER you install them.
@shermfj3 жыл бұрын
There was a reply, can't find now, but apparently adjustments can be made by reaching through engine bay after installed.
@m.6874 жыл бұрын
If you ever decide to change these out or adjust them, you can easily just reach down through the engine bay. No need to pull back the fender liner. All you need is one of those stubby screwdrivers.
@SpencerHogg4 жыл бұрын
That's very true hah we realized afterwards!

Thanks, just about to ask about adjustments.

When u put the fogs on and u hit little bumps does ur lighting bounce around? Mine seems to be not stationary even though i tighted the bolts..

Still not sure how far out the bracket is suppose to be. On the instructions it said there is suppose to be a gapping hole.
@SpencerHogg4 жыл бұрын
Ken S there’s a slight gap about 1cm yes but it can only fit 1 way regardless so unless the screws don’t go back in it’s rivht

Good vid, love the fogs. Btw the price on the fogs after exchange is what we pay retail for them in the US so it doesn't really save us anything...but good looking out regardless.
